Next up in line after the Kilgore College Rangerettes Christmas Extravaganza Dec 4th is our Derrick the Halls Holiday Movie Nights!

Dec 5th thru 7th at 6:30pm we will be showing a selection of Christmas movies chosen by our staff and faculty. Oh Oh Oh, did we mention that as a thank you to everyone that supported our horror festival back in Oct, these movies will be free to attend!!

We cannot wait to start something new for our community, please be sure to support local events any chance you get.

Family Frights today at 4pm- Kids in costume get in for Free!
Junior costume contest (judging takes place between 3pm and 4pm).
Winners will be announced after the film

Festival R.I.P. Party- Doors open at 7pm. Festivities begin at 7:30

Don't forget, if you are looking for something fun and safe for your family tomorrow Oct 29th, we have our Family Frights Film (Nightmare Before Christmas) starting at 4pm. Doors open at 3pm

Children in costume get in for free *Children must be attended by an adult at all times*

They are also welcome to enter our costume contests for the afternoon. If your child is wanting to enter for prizes, please come early for judging. Judging will take place between 3pm and 4pm; The winners are announced after the film.

Unfortunately, the Campus Life Department had to cancelled their trunk or treat event that day.

Double feature on a Friday night. We have special pricing tonight. For both movies, students to get in for $6 and general admission is $10 for both movies.

Single movie entry prices are the same if you can't handle all the fun.

We have the pleasure of screening the 1st place winner of the Texas Horror Cult Picture Show Festival in Dallas! This will take place right before The Crazies.
A few East Texas locals were part of the crew for the Horror Short and we are excited that we were pitched this idea!

Probably our oldest film of the fest clocking in at a staggering 65 million years is Jurassic Park.

We have some fun photo ops including snagging a picture with Mr. Fredric Krueger himself and a 360 video booth. Not to mention we went all out in our lobby and seating area decorations this year AND if that doesn't seal the deal we have some themed music and videos playing beforehand!

LAST DAY TO VOTE!!!
Poll closes at midnight tonight. Over the last 6 days, we've had about 70 unique votes flood in.

If you haven't already visited our website showcasing the festival here is what you missed.

Every screening we will have our Scream Queen contest sponsored by Dragon's Nest; the one stop game shop in the heart of downtown Kilgore.

Willing participants will go up on stage and give us their most bone chilling scream (no mics or PA's here. We are going old school with this one).

The Scream Queen for the night will be decided based off crowd applause.

and prizes for 1st place will be handed out before every film.

We will be back tomorrow to announce one final contest and our festival lineup.

HOWEVER, we have been keeping this a secret for far too long now and we cannot contain it any longer. We want everyone to witness our amazing grand prize. Freddy Krueger's Glove signed by THE Robert Englund!!
