Appreciation post for Jenny with Jenny Perello]! 🙌🏼 This woman has a world of talent in her pinky finger alone. Jenny was the FIRST Baker I ever worked with, and I have had the honor of working with this magical woman at least 50 times AND for my parents’ vow renewal back in 2018. Every time I see Jenny at a wedding or event, I run up and give her a big hug. Not only is she one of the funniest, kindest, cutest people I’ve ever met, but LOOK AT HER CAKES! 👏🏼 Those are not flowers - every single thing on this cake is EDIBLE. She is a true artist and absolutely blows my mind. WE LOVE YOU, JENNY! 🤍

TIPS FOR HAVING A CHAMPAGNE TOWER AT YOUR WEDDING: 🥂👇🏼
1. Don’t. 😂 Kidding… but really, if you are going to do it, do it right!
2. If there will be ANY wind (or if you are getting married on the Central Coast of CA), set it up inside! It doesn’t take much for your beautiful display to come tumbling down, so eliminate that variable.
3. Make sure all glasses are touching together. This gives you the best chance of champagne landing in the glasses and decreases the amount of spillage.
4. Start with 1 glass on the 1st level, then 2x2 on the 2nd, then 3x3 on the 3rd, and so on. I wouldn’t recommend going higher than 6 levels (you have to be able to reach the top, and more glasses means more chances for broken glass).
5. Make sure you have multiple bottles on hand. 1 bottle of champ = about 6 small glasses. Champagne towers are more fabulous than functional, so you’ll also want to have champagne poured off to the side for the rest of your guests!
6. Hire a Planner who can handle all of this for you! 😘 XOXO

Reminiscing over .davis.22 + Parker’s wedding from February! How has it almost been a year already?! Something I love about my relationship with my clients is that many of them stay in touch long after their weddings. Hi friends! 💕 How is it almost June? Raise your hand if the last 2.5 years have been a blur. 🙋🏼‍♀️ It’s been a hell of a ride and I wanted to thank you all for sticking by me through the hardest years of my life. Your support has meant everything to me. Last year, I was not at my best (not even half of my best - I was a shell of a human just trying to survive through a year of consistent trauma). As a serial perfectionist with anxiety and obsessive tendencies, I hated the thought of letting people down (especially my clients). I was shocked to still be receiving positive feedback when I felt so guilty for not being at 100%. I don’t know how I ended up with such incredible, understanding couples, but I am forever grateful. This year, I have been dedicated to providing the above & beyond services I know I am capable of. After a lot of tears, a lot of therapy, weekly support groups, and a lot of love from everyone, I’m the best version of myself today that I’ve ever been. ♥️ I’m solidified in a routine again, I’m consistently clearing my inbox, I’m planning and crushing gorgeous weddings for my couples, I’m getting healthy with the help of a Naturopath, I’m buying a house in SLO (and hopefully moving in within the next 5 months), I’m having so much fun with my friends, I’m building new relationships, I’m traveling, and I’m happy to be alive and enjoying life again. 🙌🏼 THANK YOU for making this fabulous life of mine possible! ✨ Love, your completely transparent, forever grateful, boujie ass Wedding Planner. 😘 XOXO

I BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! 😍 Well, I bought a very small fraction of a house, but it’s MY HOUSE (coming this Fall)! It’s a 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath Townhouse in the San Luis Ranch community in San Luis Obispo, and it’s everything I’ve ever dreamed my first home would be (so much room for activities)! 🙌🏼 I busted my ass to get here, but I could not have done this without my incredibly supportive parents & , my real estate agent who found the perfect place for me, two of my best friends & .yost for helping me make one of the biggest decisions of my life thus far, and my amazing clients for literally making it possible for this to come to fruition. ♥️ THANK YOU for allowing me to do what I love and live my dream! 😭 I am SOOO beyond grateful and excited for this next chapter! Best check I ever wrote. 💸💕
