Spring fever is upon us! This time of year I keep thinking about planting the flower garden and my fav white ball dahlias. We have so many amazing local farms to source lovely ingredients from, since admittedly my own dahlias were lackluster last year!

Posting during the game, this magical “refined wild” combo of anthurium, roses, and plumosa that brings me so much delight… these are not our Vday arrangements but represent a spur of the moment floral pin frog design.

Trent’s been a Chief’s fan since childhood and remarked that this arrangement is almost his colors. Will this mean lots of unfollows?

I spotted this wicker chair while scoping out a sun room for photos, and it quickly became the perfect place for a seasonal spirea install! Can you blame me? White spirea en masse + anthuriums, tulips, spray roses and more..

This is a little example, but what is special about your venue that you want to highlight with flowers? A favorite seating area? The head table / King’s table? A perfect view?

Here’s a quick look book at how to style seating floral-wise and create a moment, whether it’s for 1 person, 2, or a crowd! Alter the seating choice-modern sofa vs vintage couch etc- to reflect the feel of your event!

Joy & grief…

Brightly colored sympathy florals…many of our posted flowers are more lighthearted as weddings and celebrations are meant to be. However, having the privilege of designing florals for celebrations of lives always reminds me that joy and grief sometimes run together in different seasons.

Jaclyn & Jay had the most beautiful peony-filled June wedding day last summer and I’m using my extra time from Daylight’s Savings to share it with you!

The floral palette also included a few white and blush favs like campanula and ranunculus, and of course roses, but the peonies were certainly in their prime! Thankful for the chance to design for this sweet couple!

Yellow ✨✨✨ sophistication for Taylor & Jordan! Taylor has loved this color forever and I do think this design / color palette is timeless. Perfect setting !!

Trends are great to a point, but the best inspiration can often be found in the clothes you wear, favorite colors, memory-evoking flowers, and so on✨ It’s ok if you’re not sure how that inspiration translates into flowers…that’s my job!

July was busy with floral work and family time, but August holds a break from events so I’m hoping to post more of the floral goodness hidden away on my camera roll! Let me know what you want to see more of!!

Spring florals with a side of sentimental 🤍

My grandparents collected Salt & Pepper shakers on their travels…my grandpa had a goal of visiting each state and I think that happened, along with some international travel! This cacti shaker set has survived some mishaps at our table and aided by superglue is still in use, and they make me smile when I see them.

Whether you’re setting the table or planning a wedding, make it your own. Insert your story with color, texture, and things that are dear to you! Flowers & scents can absolutely be part of that too!

Marilyn & Logan had the most beautiful 80 degree April day!
Neutral tones were reigning and this spring bouquet was so fun! Brunia berries to match Logan’s suit, toffee roses, fringed tulips, ranunculus, dried allium, sweet peas, and some gorg hellebores. LOVE it!

Found this “sweeping babies breath cascade off the bar” video and wanted to share! The aesthetic was Babies Breath whimsical x French Provincial with a nod to the stately elegance of the Allen County Courthouse, and a head full of flowers for the lounge. It also happened to be my birthday, as a sidenote, and getting to set up the tablescape with fruit and florals tucked in on the head table felt like a gift. The brides outfit change was also so memorable.
