Preseason Preparation

Whew, January came in went like a gust of wind. 💨
We were out of the 🇺🇸state for most of January so we are just starting our preseason ✍🏽planning. We are assessing our team, processes, protocols,equipment, and 💵pricing. We are reflecting, adjusting, adding, trimming, and improving. All of this work during the down season is to make us better for you. We want to show up as the best version of ourselves for you. We take serving our customers, employees, vendors, and suppliers very seriously. What are you working on in the preseason?

When the planner becomes the bride. 👰🏽‍♀️

We planned our wedding over a 9-month period of time. Let’s just say I thought this was going to be an easy process because I have planned and coordinated so many weddings over the past 19 years. Boy was I wrong. 😳

There were several times over the 9-month planning period that I felt completely overwhelmed. Several times I struggled making decisions. Our goal to create an intentional and purposeful wedding, paralyzed me more times than I would like to admit. In the end, we had the perfect wedding for us and our 148 guests.

I learned some really important lessons on our planning journey. I learned, up close and personal, that our company is value added to any wedding. I learned that wedding planners are the heavy lifters. 🏋🏽‍♂️ Yes, I knew that before I planned my wedding. But now, I REALLY know. Wedding Planners are one of the most important investments 💰for your wedding.

To anyone getting married, do yourself a big favor and hire a wedding planner.

To all my fellow wedding planners and coordinators, job well done! 🥂
