The purpose is to conserve and protect the native forest as well as to rebuild and regenerate the delicate ecosystem that had previously been threatened by two centuries of over-logging and grazing. A few facts:
• Over 238,000 native trees have been planted since 2018.
• Only dead or damaged trees are collected for essential oil production, allowing healthy ‘iliahi (sandalwood) trees to grow to full maturity.
• For every tree that is harvested, doTERRA plants 120 more."

OUR THOUGHTS:
What if someone decided to put in a set of tracks around the UnionCity-Community to show off our Parks (The ENTIRE Community), playgrounds, places to gather for entertainment, shops etc - Wouldn't that be really cool to do? It might be the ONLY BEST attraction within 300 miles or more. And really make money for the area by drawing many many tourists.

It would be better to have ROLLING STOCK rather than stationary stock which is never open for views anyway.

Plus, Union City being what it is the Interurban was HUGE in this area not that long ago. My mother once told me about taking it from UC to Greenville and around the country side all the time. Who, in the the UnionCity-Community remembers the tracks on Broadway and W Pearl and E. Elm Streets?

Question from us: Does the UnionCity-Community do anything like this as a really cool Event?

Answer from us: Yes in a really cool way when the Class of 1962 did something for their 50th Class Reunion and then was adopted by the Union City Alumni Association, Inc. for the Alumni Banquet beginning in 2013 on the Alumni Banquet Saturday preceding the Banquet Dinner and has had a wonderful turnout since.

Do you want to learn about the history of our beautiful downtown buildings? Main Street is hosting a guided architectural tour May 20th, so don't miss out! Tickets go on sale May 6th and are $10 each. Tickets will be sold at the Welcome Center, Bread Of Life, Ciao Bella Boutique, and Refined-Purveyors of Fine Goods. We hope to see you there!

OhioMeansJobs hosting in-demand jobs

GREENVILLE — OhioMeansJobs of Darke County, located beside Edison Community College in Greenville, is hosting In-Demand jobs this week ending Friday May 6, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be local companies on site: such as Fram, Rest Haven, Resource MFG, Continental Carbonics, Kings Command, Spartech, Francis Manufacturing, Jafe Decorating, Brethren’s Retirement Community, BLESS LLC, and Flory Landscaping. Along with checking out the job fair, you can explore the Resource Room which offers five computers that can be used anytime to apply for jobs or complete a resume. Something we discovered and had to hunt for it, which took a while, is this celebration event has been removed from the FB About page on their listing as well as from the Youtube.com channel, Livestream channel, and the website [http://www.kisstv5.com/], which is listed on Youtube has been deleted from the Internet. And it's been done since the former director of the program left in February.

With those changes it would appear that the entire history of KISS-TV including the first date it went on air, is being removed whenever possible from all the Channels which carry it. Sad. Though, history is tending to repeat itself which is really scary in the ordinary sense of what took place only a few years ago. In some circles it's commonly known as censorship.

Never fear because the originators and founders of KISS-TV will prevail in spite of what is taking place in 2022.

For the most part, they really need to get it under control. The major caveat, whether intentional or not, is they will hurt 1/3 of the population who are considered to be POOR - the POOR are already strapped for cash just to purchase higher cost products and if they are lucky to have a credit card, they'll be kicked in the arse big time and that will create severe catastrophic calamities for this segment of the population.

There are a lot of people barking/howling about the recent Tax Assessments in Wayne Township across the UnionCity-Community area including the businesses downtown. We're putting together a pictorial essay along with few words where we will not mince them together.

There are a few politicians who actually don't like who does this Page because we don't mince the words. We call it as we see it. However, before we can get the word out to MANY in the entire USA that the UnionCity-Community is NOT A TAX FRIENDLY entity as well as the world, I need copies of photos of those tax assessments. And they must be clean as well as not blurry. If you leave your address/name on them, we will detract that info from the photos.

While you can take your increases and try to get them lowered at the Tax Assessors Office, it can be a real inconvenience if they want to punish you for doing so by making you stand in long lines. Maybe with our reach nation wide and also to some International countries, we can at the very least point out the difficulties with massive tax increases when we still have many old buildings unoccupied and many homes which no longer can be rehabilitated because of a greedy Tax Assessor.

If we can show the proof, on this Page and other Pages we control, you can share those Pages and we get a grassroots process going to change the mindset of these Tax Assessors. If you don't want to post the photos to this Page or even send them to me via Messenger, then email them to [email protected].

With that said, we will need to know the Township and County if it is not Wayne Township, Randolph County IN. If any one in OHIO is experiencing the same thing, we'll need to know that as well.

The UnionCity-Community, as we define it, is in ZIP CODES 45390 and 47390. Anything outside those ZIP CODES cannot be used nor will be used which is why we need to know what Tax Assessor is getting greedy. We will, as well, identify which Tax Office is responsible for these issues.

The Union City Rotary Club met on May 3rd and heard Darla Erwin of "One Happy Ass Farm" near Lynn, IN speak about the donkey, goats and other animals there. She spoke of their passion for miniature donkeys and shared many of the things unique to raising them. They have about 180K followers on Facebook and 167K followers on TikTok. Also, be sure to stop by Didier Hardware on Saturday, May 7th for their annual garden party and buy a Rotary Sausage sandwich or three! Proceeds from Sausage sales go to local projects! The Sausage booth will be open from 10 - 2!
