While I can’t promise a perfect wedding day — after all, some things are simply beyond my control, like the weather or traffic — what I can offer is an unwavering commitment to managing every detail with grace and precision. My role is to ensure that any unexpected moments are seamlessly handled, allowing you to enjoy your day without distraction.

Take A & J’s wedding, for example. With the wind picking up, J’s sunglasses were blown right out of his pocket during their first look. Check out the second photo! You can see them mid air. Without hesitation, I was already navigating the rocks to retrieve them — all before he even realized they were missing.

“Originally I thought I could handle wedding planning myself with the help of our venue coordinator — but as our wedding day approached, the overwhelming amount of logistics + planning our wedding from the other side of the country sent me into a tailspin. Enter Charity — leaving our first discovery call I immediately felt myself relax. It was an easy decision to hire her and my only regret is not hiring her from Day 1!

To those brides whose venues come with a coordinator — I would seriously recommend still hiring Charity. A venue coordinator is not the same as what Charity offers. That wasn’t clear to me before, but it’s very clear after. If you want someone who can support coordination across ALL of your vendors, be by your side in the months leading up to the event, and advocate for your vision throughout, do not wait until the end like me!”

We will always remember.

Today marks one year since the Lewiston tragedy, a sorrow our family has carried every day since.

I was driving my daughter home from dance when sirens blared and police vehicles rushed past us. Initially, I thought there was a large fire. Then my phone started buzzing with messages and calls. My daughter read them aloud: “Mom, what’s happening? Everyone wants to know if we’re safe.” We were just three miles away, completely unaware.

The true horror set in when we got home and received the call no one ever wants to hear. Our friend Stacey was in tears, saying they had been at the bowling alley that night and couldn’t find Mike. The next day, we called multiple hospitals, but found no answers. A little over 24 hours later, police arrived at Stacey’s home to confirm our worst fears: Mikey didn’t make it.

Known affectionately as Mikey, he was a hero who did everything possible to protect his family and others at the bowling alley. We will remember him daily, sharing his story of sacrifice, love, and courage.

Mikey was a gentle soul, always willing to help others. He loved his family deeply, making sure his family knew they were his top priority.

In honor of Mikey, please take a moment to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. Give them extra hugs today, help someone in need, and make every effort to spread love in your community.
