Thanks for always capturing my designs so beautifully!
Bouquets and installs are my two favorite things to design. I’ve had several couples this year who skipped the centerpieces and instead focused their budget on the statements (bouquets and installs!). I’m here for it, always!
While I love a flower-filled wedding, there are definitely table alternatives that can help keep your costs down.
Although I do have a minimum fee for full service weddings, don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re just looking for a ceremony install!
And we’ve got a name for this color palette — cotton candy! 🍭
Loved the result of these pinks and blues on this ceremony arch.
A full floral arch will never go out of style and I’m all for it.
Name this color palette!
Not pictured: the home-grown ranunculus and sweet peas I ended up adding to this bouquet 🥰

Loved the color palette from this past weekend. White, blushy beige, muted mustard, peach and coral. Featuring some of my favorite roses from .
Curious what flowers I’d use in your designs? I always include a potential flower list with images of blooms in your color palette that should be available on your wedding date. I don’t ever guarantee any specific bloom (because nature can be unpredictable — hello 55 degrees and rainy in late May) but I like to give my clients a sense of some things they can expect. Sometimes I’ll find something perfect that isn’t on the original list (that lavender clematis!) and it’s all about flexibility within your color palette. But if you hate a flower, let me know! I won’t include anything that turns you off 🤪
Peep the last page on these slides to see my original blooms that I thought to use before this project last July.

Grew this beauty in the garden! I’m definitely a floral designer and not a gardener (“You need to w**d your garden” — hubs). I actually planted all my ranunculus upside down last fall and then dug up what I could and re-planted them. We also had a couple of freezes in the winter, but some of these beauties made it and even went into today’s wedding bouquet 🤗
Excited to see some recent work with an amazing team up on today. Check out the post with top tips for having an indoor wedding!
Thanks to all the incredible local vendors for being a part of this day!

What a wonderful, colorful day yesterday for G+L and their family and friends. It was so much fun using these vibrant pinks and oranges in their florals and this “chuppah” design was a fave.
I’m all about the color blocking, especially in larger designs like this.
And is honestly a florists dream with all the structures you can build on!
Congrats to this sweet couple! Loved being a small part of your day.
Some spring ikebana pretties featuring local blooms in handmade ceramic vessels against a custom, hand-painted backdrop. As a small business owner, I love being able to support other small businesses and include them in my designs, inventory and branding.
Looking forward to the events this season that have ikebana-inspired designs!
If you’re not into “traditional” centerpieces or if you like an organic, more minimal feel, check out ikebana hashtags on social media and ikebana searches on Pinterest for further inspiration. And hit the save button if this colorful ikebana setup is your style!
Let’s talk about the wedding party!
Want to cut down some of your floral design costs? Of course, a lower guest count = a lower number of tables and therefor, less floral needed for those areas. But what about your wedding party? Having a big wedding party means more boutonnières and more bouquets. While those designs aren’t big line items, I can tell you that a large wedding party can easily cost you $1k or more.
Are bouquets pretty? Yes. Traditional? Yes. Something to hold and make your hands less awkward? Yes. But they add up!
Just something to consider when you think about your wedding party and floral design costs. Perhaps having a select few by your side is more your thing, or maybe go without the bouquets and opt for something else to hold (it gets hot here in the summer in Oregon — decorative fans, anyone?).
But if none of that jives with you and you still want the wedding party bouquets and bouts, I’m here for it too. Just a friendly reminder that there are always options.
Personally, I loved how Maddie chose to make her bridesmaid bouquets more neutral and hers stand out with those pops of summer citrus. Swipe for her bouquet close up! It’s one of my faves.

Version 1 or 2? Or neither (lol).
I rarely arrange for “myself”, partially because I never had a decent photo backdrop (shoutout for this custom canvas that I’m obsessed with), partially cause flowers ain’t cheap, and partially cause I could spend hours tweaking stems to perfect them for photos (and end up never being 100 percent satisfied).
After doing floral design for 6 years now, I still find myself learning with each design — always trying to perfect my craft and make the next design better than the last.
And of course, forever grateful to flower in a city where I have access to so many incredible locally grown flowers (100 percent local in these arrangements!). Also, first time using the sustainable mechanic Oshun Pouch () — highly recommend!
Lots of neutral colors on my feed lately but color is coming, people!
Like, lots of color.
Pinks and oranges next week.
Splashes of peaches and corals the week after.
In June we’ve got some blush, mauve and burgundy.
Pink, blue and lavender.
And pinks, coral, peach, red and blue.
I. Cannot. Wait. 🌈
Lush and earthy with some of my favorite neutral roses: quicksand, toffee, playa blanca and combo.
I use roses in a lot of my designs and for those who think they don’t like them, I promise you my work isn’t going to look like a grocery store rose design.
Roses have a lot of meaning to me, personally. It’s the birth flower of June (cancer girl over here 🦀!), I started my business here in Rose City (Portland), and I gave my dog the middle name Rose. Garden roses also happen to be one of my favorite flowers.
Who else is with me on the love for roses? 🙋♀️🙋♂️

I don’t normally work with many dried flowers but when I do it turns into a floral bow tie and statement earrings ✨
Shout out to the real dried flower master , who asked me to join this two designer series shoot early last year
