This week is our first ever edition of QuizQuest Labs for our weekly general knowledge trivia! We occasionally get asked about format changes when a new season arises, but at this point it seems better to leave the usual game the way it is and play a completely different format from time to time. Let our writing labs run our questioning experiments on you!

What to expect this week:
- General knowledge trivia
- A completely different format from normal, but the same format on Wednesday that was run on Tuesday (but different questions!)
- A game that DOES count towards the season standings. (In the event that a game format does not have wagering in its final round, only the final point total of the week will count.)
- Doing this again once more in December (with another completely different format!), and then likely once per season in future seasons.
- A challenging, but really fun time!

We hope to see you at Fulton Street Pub or Harmony Brewing this week for the first of hopefully many labs nights!

Check out our themed events this week: Shrek Trivia is tonight at Fulton Street Pub & Grill at 8pm, and then this Friday night we are hosting a special themed event at Grand Rapids Comic Con about popular fandoms and celebrity guests at this year's Con! If you haven't decided yet what day you'll be attending Comic Con, get a Friday pass and hang out for trivia in Grand Gallery Overlook D at 7 as the exhibition hall closes.

Don’t ever count yourselves out when you are playing our trivia… Congratulations to Sublime! for being the first team ever since the consolation prize started near the beginning of this year to steal the first place prize! Only two other teams finished with points, both green teams, so they took home the second and third place prizes.

This week, QuizQuest Trivia is all theme nights!

Kick off the spookiest month with some Horror Film Trivia tonight at Fulton Street Pub & Grill! If music is more your interest, come out to Harmony Brewing Company tomorrow for a special format all-music edition of trivia! We will be back to general knowledge trivia with the kick-off of season 30 next week.

Next week is the final week of season 29 - and the race for the final playoff spots is very tight! Currently the wild card spot is filled by The Wild Fish, with So Yeah OK? just 5 points behind them!
