Now Hiring for Energetic, Professional, Hospitable people to join our Guest Services Team.

Job Summary: Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay by working with all hotel personnel to ensure every guest experiences superior customer care.

Responsibilities include registering guests, assigning rooms, accommodating special requests, and ensuring the guests have a pleasant stay and smooth checkout.

Job Duties:

Maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department.
Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary.
Knows cancellation procedures.
Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
Registers arriving guests and assigns rooms.
Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms.
Coordinates guest room maintenance work with the engineering and maintenance division.
Uses persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
Assist with event setups(If needed)
Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Processes guest check-outs and handles monetary transactions.
Maintains customers' privacy.
Preform Laundry Duty while on shift.
Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
Performs other duties as assigned.

a. Checks station assignment and side duties, checks service stations for ice, cups, etc.

b. Cleans and restocks areas according to duties assigned for the day

c. Busses and cleans tables, chairs and seats, resets tables promptly after guests leave, sweeps the floor and carries bus tub (weighing up to 35 lbs.) to dishwashing station

d. Knows table numbers and dining room floor plan, responds quickly to guest requests or notifies servers responsible of any guest requests, questions or complaints

e. Watches the dining room closely to insure tables are bussed as soon as guests leave, works closely with servers, hosts/hostesses and manager and insures that tables are ready in response to their instructions

f. Helps fellow Server Assistants with their tables as needed to insure tables are ready to meet guest volume and completes assigned side duties

g. Understands and follows safety and sanitation practices and works with clean and sanitized tools (bus tubs, towels, broom, dustpan, floor sweeper)

h. Stocks and replenishes cups, glasses, ice, CO2, soft drink dispensers, etc

i. Performs duties that require standing, fast movement throughout the dining room, kitchen and serving area

j. Performs side duties including cleaning vents, scrubbing trash cans, cleaning gum from underneath the tables, detailed cleaning of chairs, cleaning of ice bins, replacing light bulbs, setting up sanitizers, cleaning floor sweepers, emptying trash, taking trash to the dumpster, vacuuming all carpeted floors, and cleaning the bus area.

k. Reports to work on time

l. Maintains a well-groomed appearance and wears proper attire, according to the dress code

m. Complies with all health and safety regulations

n. Complies with State laws for serving Alcoholic Beverages
