Patrick T. , review of Bishop Richard (10/21/2023)

"Organized, flexible, traditional"

Bishop Richard is an absolute pleasure to work with. His organization and collaboration with other vendors is unmatched. In addition, his kind and gentle demeanor helps take the stress out of the process.

We had to find an officiant last minute and were able to book with him a mere 4 weeks before the wedding after our prior option fell through. In those 4 short weeks, Bishop Richard was able to help us prepare and was ready to work with the vendors as soon as he showed up on wedding day. He takes no shortcuts and is very thorough!

You will not regret having him as an officiant for your wedding.

So, this is what Weddings have come to!

No longer is the Wedding Day the ‘First Day of Marriage’. It has become a showcase for brides to be ‘Princess for a Day’, for grooms to have a ‘drunk fest’ with his friends, for parents to spend enormous amounts of money to show off. And now, it has become a politicized event to fracture families and make social statements!

The bride referenced in this article is representative of so many brides of today. It’s all about, “I want”, “I’m entitled”, “Give me”. The mother is representative of so many parents who try to buy their children’s affection through appeasement, without instilling morals and values.

A Wedding used to have meaning with sacred vows and a public commitment. Now they have become just another big party, with the focus on drinking and dancing. No wonder more than 50% of marriages dissolve within the first three-years. There was no commitment in the first place. There was no planning for a Marriage; only planning for a Wedding.

This bride, like so many, has no perspective on Marriage; or on life for that matter. And shame on those who placate her!

A woman wanted her conservative uncle to give her a gift even though he was forbidden from attending her wedding, and an advice columnist mocked her for it

Smiles, sunshine, and sunflowers...does it get any more perfect than this? 💛🌻
