🕵️‍♂️🎬Lights, camera, MURDER!!

This night was filled with glitz, glamour, and mystery as we celebrated my clients 50th birthday in true Hollywood style!

We had five different tables themes to represent the era of 1930.

Lots of decorations, mind boggling, clues, a night filled with suspense, and surprises, and signature cocktails/great food.

Advantages for your parents to live on a ranch is you get to have your wedding there. This ranch had a beautiful mountain view, open land for our tents and lawn games, and fun ways to use things the client already owned. We used to park cars into the pasture. The families blue tractor was used to ice down and hold drinks. Spindles were used for the dessert station. Hay and blankets created a great lounge area. Tours of their horses were exciting. The three piece bluegrass band could be sheltered from the sun being under the barn patio. Washing your hands was easy under the outdoor faucet. BBQ freshly being cooked by filled the air. This wedding was simple yet unique and very personalized, perfect for the bride & groom and family. The B&G were also so happy to be able to build their own wedding cake using their favorite cakes from Whole Foods, perfectly teamed with fresh pies and ice cream.

Planning this high school graduation for three girls that combined their party was very special! They had a good idea what they wanted for their color palette and a few important elements they wanted was an outdoor balloon arch with marquee letters that spelled out 2023, cookies from Eileen’s, and patio lighting!

As I worked with the families to control the budget we succeeded in having a perfect summer backyard party that included outdoor lighting, a comfy lounge area, a food truck, snacks, cookies, drinks and a good layout plan to allow those a perfect view of games being played! Weather is always a challenge when doing outdoor events and we were thankful the rain stopped at setup and started again when the party ended.

With 128 good friends and families, one thing that stood out to me was that the young adults (high schoolers) were respectful and kind.

Working with my favorite vendors always bring excellent results, they are hard working and care about the final outcome.

The girls mom’s were very helpful and by doing their part it helped make the party a success. I loved the bulletin boards the girls and their moms created, and the light up girls names will go to college with each of the girls. We had to go into Plan B with the setup for these boards but sometimes Plan B works out better than plan A and as you see by the photos it was gorgeous.

One moms words were much appreciated!

I was honored to be the event planner for this conference. We have been planning this conference for months and I worked with amazing ladies every step of the way! I learned so much about South Metro Fire Rescue and they are a group of people that really care about what they do, why, and how! I feel like a child now when I see the firetrucks going down the streets, wondering where they’re going, and if I know any of the firefighters on the truck! This has been one of my most favorite events I have worked on!

Musana’s second annual women of Grit and Grace Ladies Luncheon was today in recognition of International Women’s Day and the incredible women living in the Pearl of Africa: Uganda. The Welcome Address was from anchor Karen Leigh (four-time Emmy winner) with CBS4 news. The keynote address was from Sadie Robertson Huff (you may know her from Duck Dynasty and Dancing With The Stars) and there was a powerful message from Musano’s cofounders! Musana’s has an amazing story that started with passion and now grown into a large organization. Their mission is to end poverty one community at a time. They are currently building a new hospital. I am honored to have my photo with Karen Leigh, Adriana with Alora Event Design and some friends! &grace

This was a farewell party for one of the executives at Bright Horizon. He was very well liked and some called him their favorite boss ever. There were a lot of tears at this celebration however they all had a great sense of humor which allowed us to put the word “QUITTER” on the director chair, which was one of his going away gifts.

Our theme for the event was the Academy Awards which gave us the direction for all our decor! He loved snacks so doing a movie style concession stand fell into place perfectly.

Some colleagues traveled in for the event and others live steamed it.

Graduation parties are the time to celebrate the person, whether it’s your child or yourself, for getting the diploma. It’s not just a piece of paper, rather, it is proof that hard work was done and it’s time for the graduate to move on to the next chapter of their life. New adventure‘s and challenges await the graduate and celebrating this milestone is a tradition that is well received!
Graduations only come a few times in a persons lifetime. We are here to help! We have already received calls to plan graduation parties for this year. The “early bird gets the worm” holds so true for this season in the event world as May is also a busy time for weddings. We need to be quick to rent tents, linens, tables/chairs, book DJ’s and food trucks/catering, book vendors for outdoor lighting, etc. While not every party needs all these things, this is where Willie Ripple Events helps sort out all the “wants verses needs”, especially for high school graduation parties. A DJ’s main goal is to engage and entertain their audience. Scotty, our AWESOME DJ “rocked” this 150 person “Celebration of Life.” Our client said their sister (who past away at a young age of 65) wanted a huge party, dancing included, so that’s just one of the elements we created to honor her life. There are many entertainment options to add on when hiring a DJ. For this event we had a dance floor lighting package, a projection screen, two 55” LED TV’s, projector (for a slideshow), and a video messaging mirror me video booth. There is so much more that can be added on for a higher-luxury experience such as LED dance floor/stages, LED curtains, Lasers, Special Effects such as Cold Spark Machines for Grand Entrances!

Guests enjoyed this active caramel apple station at their mini fall festival, five fun toppings to dip their apples in before moving on to the gourmet s’mores bar station!
The weather was perfect as guests roasted marshmallows and chose to create a traditional s’mores or take a risk with different ingredients. A hot cocoa with whipped cream was the perfect finish to the night!

With a color palette of "blue and silver" for my clients "Surprise 50th Bday Celebration" for his wife, my florist .houseofflowers and I discussed having blue roses and blue orchids. Both of these flowers in blue are hard to find. Blue roses represent mystery, the impossible, or the unattainable. Give a blue rose to someone says “you are extraordinarily wonderful and unique.” Orchids are considered symbols of love, so it was a perfect flower for my client to show how much he loved his wife. roses celebration events .houseofflowers
