Hi it’s Laurie, owner of Lakeside Weddings + Events. After feeling so energized by the beautiful weather yesterday I thought I would pop on here since it has been awhile. To those that do not know me, I have 3 kids , I ❤️ dogs and on a recent vacation I tried surfing for the first time and loved it! I started my business because I am a romantic and because of my passion for planning and organization. I love everything about weddings from the big moments down to the smallest details. My goal for my clients is to bring to life a story that is uniquely theirs and for them to enjoy their special day without worrying about all of the moving pieces. I still have some dates left in 2021 and 2022 inquiries are coming in. When I am not planning weddings, I can often be found enjoying one of MN 10,000 lakes. 🥂 Cheers to happy couples on their wedding day!

I've always had a passion for organizing and planning, and love to share those qualities by providing stress-free experiences. Ones where my clients do not have to worry about the preparations and details. I started Lakeside Weddings + Events because at the end of the day I am a hopeless romantic, and I am incredibly fortunate to work with remarkable people while doing what I love to do.
