Pen & Paper evolved from a simple request by a friend to address her wedding invitation envelopes. Since 2004 Linda Pasca continues to use exquisite hand writing, paper and design in her work. Pen and Paper draws much inspiration from it's local community, the east end of Long Island. Linda's calligraphy reflects her authentic passion for relationships, nature and art. Because of this, her clients

come away with a positive experience and ultimately work they are thrilled with. When Linda was 16 years old she drew a portrait of her Grandfather for her mother after he had passed away. Through the years she continued to present family members with portraits of their loved ones after their passing. On June 4th of 2010 Joey Theinert was killed in action in Afghanistan at the age of 24. She did not know him, but his mother was a dear friend of hers. She wanted to do something and decided to give her a portrait on the year anniversary of his death. The emotional connection that she felt to Joey while working on his portrait was overwhelming and has inspired her to continue drawing. Her heart goes into every one of her drawings and their story. Nothing is more rewarding than capturing the essence and spirit of a subject and touching another person in a positive way. The combination of eloquent calligraphy and portraiture has led Pen and Paper Design to where it is today. Linda works in a quaint studio located in the heart of the east end.
