DJs, if you wouldn’t casually listen to your “go to” playlists (cocktail hour, dinner, seating, etc), or use them at a personal event, you probably need to rethink them.

People are generally okay hearing “typical wedding music”, at their wedding, but they are delighted to hear stuff that they casually listen to on their own, especially if it wasn’t something they suggested.

I am ALWAYS updating my “go to” lists, and it makes a huge difference in crowd engagement and client satisfaction.
