👋 Hey, lovely new followers! We’re the Lerma family – Carlos and Ashley, a husband + wife photography duo who are all about weddings, lifestyle, and events. 📷🎉

Carlos started out as a graphics designer, but after realizing how much time was spent searching for stock photos, he picked up a camera to create his own. This led to us getting requests for wedding photography, and before we knew it, we were diving into the world of weddings.

Then, after facing a tough business setback and with a new son on the way, we realized there was a gap in the area for a high-quality photo booth service. We decided to take a leap of faith, putting everything we had into it—and we came out stronger on the other side. 8 booths and 10 years later, here we are! We’re still passionate about capturing genuine moments and making sure every client has everything they need for the best experience.

Lerma… that doesn’t sound like it’s from around here? You’re right. We’re originally from Texas (Houston + Austin), but we found our home and fell in love with Cajun culture here in Acadiana almost 20 years ago, so this is very much home to us. 🎺🎷

Our family is made up of two energetic boys, Ashton & Cohen, and our Beagle-Shih Tzu, Tucker. Our house is full of laughter, play, and the occasional photo booth session with Tucker! 🙉🐾

A few design concepts later, we collaborated on a layout that truly reflected the vision of the Scout Guide. The goal? A layout that mirrored their newly released magazine cover—full of color, class, and showcasing the high-caliber companies featured within. ✨

We were honored to bring the same level of custom design to this layout as we do for every event, ensuring every detail, from camera settings to positioning, was perfect to create a memorable experience for all involved.

This week, we captured 2,250 images and videos over 45 hours. 📸 While those numbers are impressive, what you don’t often hear are the behind-the-scenes challenges: rescheduled events, staff conflicts, layout revisions, technical hiccups, and even a broken Santa bench.
