Love the idea of an outdoor wedding reception? We do too!! But with it comes so many things to think about and plan for. A few things to keep in mind below and if you need help navigating it all, leave it to the pros to make sure you have everything handled!
- First and foremost you need to make sure you’re thinking of a weather back up plan, either a tent or an indoor option.
- Not only do you have to prepare physically for a backup plan, but prepare mentally. If your entire day will be ruined because you can’t have the outdoor reception you’ve been dreaming of then you need to rethink the best options that won’t devastate you if plans have to change.
- Make sure guests are aware so they can come prepared with their attire.
- Be sure to hire experienced professionals who are aware of what their setups will require for an outdoor event as it can be completely different than an indoor wedding.

Emma & Tyler incorporated so many sweet personal touches to their day. Bottled maple syrup party favors from their family’s maple farm in Vermont, hand written notes on vintage Texas post cards for the guests seating assignments and macaroons placed on each guest place setting.
