I loved music as a child and did my first DJ event in 7th grade and my first Wedding when I was 17 years old. I proceeded to Marist College and continued my DJ career and formally started D.J. Sounds Unlimited in 1989. After school I continued my DJ career full time with the support of my parents. As the time past I evolved with the industry moving from LP's to CD's and then CD's to laptops. I hav

e enjoyed the journey and love doing what I do. After thousands of events I could write an epic book from my experiences. I have performed all over New England to perform and enjoy going to new places. I do much more than just DJ now and have added Karaoke & Video Jock to my services. I've learned that nothing beat experience at any event and we now offer many fun and exciting toys to take any event to the highest level. As time goes on my business is growing each year and after the covid lockdown I added more services and we came out blazing hot to start my final few chapters in my amazing DJ entertainment career. On Saturday, June 22nd I was at Jack Durrell Pavillion @ Penfield Beach in Fairfield for Chris & Kate's Wedding for around 120 guests. We did music and mics for the beach Wedding ceremony that was followed after by cocktail hour where we played 50's & 60's love songs on the rear deck. Then it was time to celebrate. We kicked it off with a Grand Introduction and their first dance, "All Your'n" - Tyler Childers. This was a fun group of guests that were ready to party. We had the Disco ball in effect and looked amazing in the room once the sunset. BBQ was for dinner and the Pig and beef were cooking in the front of the building. It was also great to see other couples at the event where I had done their Wedding. The event flew past and everyone had a great time and the dancefloor was packed all night. Fun time and congratulations Chirs & Kate.

On Friday, June 21st I was at Lewisboro Town Park for a Fund Raiser for KL SEPTO. This was primarily a kids event for me since I was in charge of entertaining around 30 kids ranging in ages from 4-10 years old. I was set up underneath the pavilion and soon after I started the rain came down hard. This made my life much easier since the kids were all over the park in the beginning of the event. We played fun upbeat music as well as a bunch of games. They loved the hula-hoops. It was a fun event that went by quickly. The kids did a great job dancing. The kids loved the egg and spoon race especially when they got to race their parent. It was a fun time and glad that the parents participated as well. Fun time.

On Wednesday, June 19th I was back at "A Child's Garden" daycare center in Fairfield. This is always a fun morning (9:30 am - 11:30 am) and the kids always love the DJ and games. I had several different groups of kids ranging from 2-10 for around a 30-minute period per group. The 2 years old don't understand the games however they love the upbeat beats and are dancing anyway. I played a whole bunch of games: Floor is Lava, Limbo, Hula Hoop contest and the GIANT parachute with "Bailey the Bunny". The event is always fun and the kids are great as well as the teachers being a big help. We were outside on this beautiful day. Looking forward to coming back!

On Friday, June 14th I was at Club Fit for Relay for Life. This was the alternate space used due to rain this day. I set up in the gym and it was lined with vendors of all kinds. I had my Bose at the event, they filled the room and sounded amazing. There was food trucks and all kinds of entertainment from Zumba, Cheer and dance. There was a small track for walking and the various team were ready to move forward to plan B today and have fun. I always love to hear the stories and see all the survivors. The luminaria is always my favorite spot and brings people back to reality on why we walk and support American Cancer Society. It is very touching to see the decorated lighted bags around the track to honor loved ones effected by cancer. I was already invited back for next years event that will be on Friday June 13th back at Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Track & Field. Looking forward to another fun time with a great group of people.

On Sunday, June 9th I was back at the American Legion in Armonk for Avery's 7th Birthday Swifty party! We had around 25 girls that were ready to have a Swifty good time. We played a bunch of games as well as even Swifty Name That Tune! We played a bunch of games: Freeze Dance, Limbo, Hula Hoop contest and many more. This was a quick 2-hour party and was amazingly fun. They handed out some swifty glasses and had a DYI photo booth that was done nicely. Avery event had a Swifty sign in board. Great event with an excellent group of girls. Many of which I have met before at previous events. Happy 7th Birthday Avery!!

Saturday, June 8th I was back to Brewster High School for Relay For Life set and set up in the track. We had a large sound system there with six-(6) large speakers so everyone could hear the music and announcements. With no power we had our outstanding Honda generator supplying the electric. Love that the generator is quite and very fuel efficient. They had a great turn out and some great entertainment for the event. There were singers, dancers (Zumba) and some motivational speeches. My favorite party of the event is when it gets dark, and the Luminaria is done. All the lights are turned off and a lap is done around the track with everyone with the track lit up only by the Luminaria bags which are lined around the track. It is a very moving part of the event. It was a great event and will be back again next year which will be on Saturday May 31st.

On Friday, June 7th in the evening was my second event of the day. This was for Pawling High School Jr. & Sr. Prom held at the Keepsake in Poughkeepsie. We had our killer Bose sound system, photo booth and wireless up-lights at the event. I also used the Disco ball, and we had around 175 students ready to party. There was a cocktail hour on the first floor, and we provided background music and then it was upstairs for the main event. From the moment they walked in until the very end it was a packed floor. Fun group of kids that wanted to let loose. We were provided with another extensive music list which was no problem and the students came up to make requests as well. Fun time and looking forward to next years prom in April at the Ambor Room. Congrats to all the Pawling Tiger Graduates!!

On Friday, June 7th I was back at PQ Elementary School for field day and I started at 10:30 AM. I am the lunch entertainment with the kids and I will have three- (3) separate groups for one-(1) hour each. This is always a fun event and then kids are ready to dance after they eat pizza. I will do a view games and group dances and the kids and I have a blast together. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a blast. Look forward to next year's event!!

On Thursday, June 6th I was back to the Grandview for North Salem Jr. & Sr. Prom with around 200 guests. We were here last year as well for the prom and will be here again for 2025 too. This is a great Prom and lots of dancing. From the moment they enter the room until the end the dance floor was packed. They made a very extensive request list prior to the event and there were all kinds of music requested. This was a fun time for everyone, and everyone looked great as well. Congratulations to the class of 2024!!

On Saturday, June 1st I was back to Mickey Spillane's in Eastchester for Niamh & Cara's dual graduation party. We had around 70 total guests of which 20 were friends. This was a quick 3 hour event with a lot of talking in the start however after the buffet was done everyone was ready to party and celebrate. It was epic when I played "Rock the Boat" and a group of guests sat on the floor in a row and pretended to be in a boat. Have not seen that in many many years. The Disco Ball was in effect and looked amazing. I played all kinds of dance music however any Irish music played was a BIG hit with everyone dancing and singing. Fun time with great people. Congratulations Niamh & Cara on your next chapter in life and hope you are both are enjoying College.

On Friday, May 31st I was back at Mizzentop School in Pawling for the end of the year celebration with 5th-8th graders. We were outside on a beautiful day under a tent for around 55 kids. We had out photo booth and Bose DJ set up with a few lights to add some excitement for a day-light party. The kids were great and we did some games: Limbo, Hula Contest and more. There were some fun awards given out to the 8th graders and at the end of the event all the kids were handed giant water sq**rt guns and headed to the field to have a giant contest. This was done when we were finished. Fun time and will be back for next school year's Halloween party in October. Have a great Summer

On Saturday, May 4th I was a Danbury Mall for the first of several Relay For Lifes in the area. I was set up on a stage area on the lower level directly in front of the elevator. This was an 8 hour event with several things going on during the day. They had a giant table with many great prizes that were donated such as: Fred Astaire Dance Studio 4 free lessons, Stew Leonard gift card, Bath & Body Works and many more. Opening Ceremony started at 9 AM with Rich Minor from 98Q, Carmen Olivia from Bethel High School who sang the National Anthem, our survivor Honoree Speaker was Vera Delohery & a great speech from Dr. Anderson (Chief Breast Surgical Oncology and Breast program Danbury Breast Center). After a great opening ceremony, the walk inside the mall began. At 11 AM a dance routine was performed by the Fred Astaire Dance and at Noon 3D Academy performed with a bunch of youth singers that were excellent. At 1 PM St. Lukes School led some fun games and trivia was at 3 PM with 12 bags of popcorn "Lesser Evil" were used as prizes. I kept the vibe going with fun upbeat music, some group dances but most importantly to keep things on time and to make announcements to raise money! Relay for Life was started in 1985 and has raised over 6.9 BILLION dollars. This is a great cause and a fun place to do the Relay For Life. Having both of my parents lose battles to cancer I stand proud to be able to support such a great organization. I placed a flower on the wall of "HOPE" where you honor someone. I bought a flower in honor of my daughter Chelsea who thank god has beaten back early stages of cancer and is now cancer free!!! Great job Danbury and looking forward to seeing everyone at my upcoming Relay for Life events in 2024.

On Friday, May 3rd I was at a house party in Chappaqua for Elia's 10th birthday Swifty party!! This was a quick 90 minute party for around 20 girls that were ready to dance, party, play games and listen to some Taylor Swift. We even did Taylor Swift "Name That Tune" that the kids loved. From once the party started until the end, it was very high energy. When the party ended it was time to eat quick, have cake and attack the candy bar!! Many of the girls at the event were dressed the part for the Swifty party theme. We had the disco ball to add some cool lighting for the party and it looked awesome as usual. I love the battery powered lights to shine on the disco ball since I can place them anywhere in the room to get the best effect. We played a bunch of games and the girls did a great job singing away to all of the Swifty songs as well as Olivia Rodrigo. Fun time with a fun polite group of girls. Happy 10th birthday Elia!!

On April 27th I was at Season's in NJ for Vincents Communion party. I had around 70 guests with 20 kids to entertain. This was a beautiful day and everyone was excited since Spring was finally in the air. Season's is a beautiful venue with various rooms and a gorgeous outdoor area that the guests were allowed to use. We started off with a cocktail hour followed by a few speeches and a buffet. At the bar ALL the gusts loved the Expresso Martini machine. Everyone was raving about them. I have never seen a machine like this before but looked like a great idea. After the guests ate is was time to get things going and play some games and get things moving. We had a bunch of party props to hand out to the kids as well and did a bunch of games too. Everyone was so nice and I have worked for the parents in the past. Fun time. Congratulations Vincent!!

On Friday, April 26th I was back at Putnam Valley Middle School for their Spring Fling. Many of the students were dressed in Tropical gear. This was for the 5th-8th graders that were ready to dance and have a good time. This is always a fun time and this is the easiest load in as well. I just open the gym doors from the outside and set up right next to the doors. I had a nice booming sound system with our 18" sub and even had the disco ball. The DJ lights didn't work out well since the gym had so many windows and the party was from 5-7. I played all types of music requests: Carnival, Karma, Cha-Cha slide, Rich Baby Daddy, Never Gonna Give You Up and a tone more. We did a bunch of group dances as well as a Limbo contest. The 2 hour dance went by very quickly and then it was over. Looking forward to coming back again for next school year. Great job Putnam Valley!!

On Thursday, April 25th I was back to Putnam County Golf Course for the annual Club Fit Swim team awards banquet. We had around 110 guests with half kids and the other half parents. We started of with cocktail hour, followed by speeches, buffet dinner and then amazing video recap of the swim season. The kids like to dance and love the group dances. We did: Wobble, Macarena, Cha-Cha Slide and Cupid Shuffle as well as danced up a storm. This is always a fun event which I have been doing for several years. One of my favorite parts of the event is the Senior speeches. The seniors all seem so sad to be leaving the team and have amazing stories about their experience to share with the coaches, parents and younger teammates. Once the kids graduate high school, they can no longer be on the swim team. The two-(2) Swarm & (2) Ricochette lights made the room look like a nightclub. This was once again a fun night and looking forward to coming back again next year.

On Saturday, April 20th I was at the VFW in New Milford for Crissa's Surprise 50th Birthday. We had around 50 guests ready to celebrate and we had a great playlist provided to me of popular Disco, Freestyle and 90's music to dance to. We also had a TV to play our popular music videos of the requested songs. It is fun to watch the older videos since they bring back so many memories of our youth. Crissa showed up shortly after the party started and was very surprised. After she was greeted by everyone the buffet was opened and then it was time to dance from the blast to the past. Fun group of guests and great to see a few people that I knew at the event as well. There were personalized and pictured chocolate bars for Crissa as well as a beautiful cupcake tier for dessert. It was a fun night as usual, and I had a great time making friends with the College kids. Great group of people. Happy 50th Crissa!!

On Friday, April 19th I was at the Italian American Club in Brewster for Henry H. Wells Middle School annual retirement party. This was the first year that I'm doing this and it was a lot of fun!! It was great to see SO many guests and staff members that I knew at this event. There were several members retiring from school and the principal did an excellent job MCing the event. He is funny. We started off with a cocktail hour followed by speeches and then a buffet dinner. Then it was time to dance the night away and celebrate retirement. This was a mixed age group and we had around 80 guests. This was a very fun event, and the teachers and guests were ready to party. I played a little bit of all types of music and once it was time to dance the party was in full throttle until the end of the night. What a fun group and hope to be invited back again next year. Congratulations to all the retirees at the event. Enjoy your next chapter in life!!

On Friday, April 12th I was back to Putnam County Golf Course for another St. Patrick's School Fund Raiser. This is my second year doing this event and it is always decorated over the top and this year's theme was NYC, "The Big Apple 2024 Shamrock Auction!! They have a large assortment of prizes for the silent auction where everyone can bid and some great various prizes. I loved the Yankee station with popcorn. They then to a live auction at the end where the students from each class make an item that is raffled off to the highest bidder. They also had two -(2) faculty members that were retiring this year and they were acknowledged and gave speeches about their experience. The first hour was cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner. There was a little time for dancing, but they danced when it was time. The committee did another great job to raise money for the school and the MC for the live auction was a parent and did an amazing job. Hope to be back again next year.

On Friday, March 22nd I was back to Villa Barone Hilltop Manor for "Hope for Heros" fund raiser. I did this event last year as well and it is a great event for a great organization. We had around 400 guests in the large upstairs room. Here we supply background music only and our Bose PA system and wireless mic for all the speeches & raffles. Tonight, a FDNY member was presented a highly trained dog. He fell of a ladder the dog will help him immensely. We had our TV out in the lobby area where there were various vendors and all of the raffle prizes to take your chances on. There was a bottle of Pappy's Bourbon that I would have loved to bid on. After appetizers the color guard presented colors for the playing of the National Anthem as well as the Pledge of Allegiance. It was funny to see a few former clients of mine at the event as well. They now moved up to Mahopac from White Plains. The guests had ALOT of food to eat as well as great drinks at the bar. Mitch from Hope for Heros always does a great job of MCing the event. Another great night and thanks for having me back for your event. Look forward to working with "Hope For Heros" again in the future.

On Saturday, March 16th I was at Danbury Yach Club for Jessie's Sweet 16. I did her older sister's Sweet 16 a few years prior. I was set up outside in a tent located on Candlewood Lake and this was an indoor/outdoor event with the food being inside. There were around 75 guests and even some friends of mine from High School! I had the Disco ball set up as well as our TV for music videos which always add to the visual effect at the event. Jessie had a beautiful pink dress and all of the other girls wore black. The girls were ready to dance!! We did a Candle Lighting around 9:30 PM and continued the party with some great dance music as well as some fun group dances. We also did an old school set for the adults to keep them interested. I got a little chilly in the tent as the sunset since the heater wasn't working. That was all good since they had to dance to keep warm and wasn't an issue. Happy Sweet 16 Jessie and thanks Alison & Bobby Muller (Mom & Dad). Great to see you Tricia and Paul!!

On Thursday, March 7th I was back to Mahopac Middle School for the 6th & 7th grade dance in the BIG gym. We had around 300 students and had the big Yamaha set up out to kick the bass. We also had our photo booth at the event and there was an 80's & 90's theme for the dance. It is always a fun time at the school blasting away all the hot hits! Carnival by Kanye West was the hot song of the night!! The students showed me some break dance moves and the girls were all singing away to Taylor Swift and other popular hits. They always take a pause about 1 hour prior to the end and have a great raffle for the students as well as serving Pizza in the cafeteria. I always bring a bunch of bright lights so they can shut off the lights and still watch the students effectively. The photo booth had a line at it all night long and the kids were able to email themselves a GIF of the photos they took as well as get a printout. Fun time for the last dance of the year at the school. We will be doing the 8th grade Semi-Formal at Putnam Golf Club in the beginning of June. See you next year MMS. Have a great Summer!!!

22/05/2024

On Friday, March 1st I was back at Pawling Elementary School for a pair of back-to-back 90 minute dance events with a Neon 80's theme. So we had a nice sound system with lights as well as our fun and powerful "Black Lights (5)" to watch the kids glow in the neon. I had around 100 kids and parents at each event and was great to see the adults participate as well and dance. The first event was pre-k -1st grade and the later event was 2nd -4th grades. They even made a neon dance floor out of neon heavy paper. Once the lights went down it was party time. What energy these kids had, and the gym was amazingly decorated for the 80's dance. We did some group dances, limbo and we played a handful of 80's music and was great to see the kids dance to the songs of a great era! I miss the 80's!! The dances went by very quickly with a 30-minute break in the middle. This is always a fun event and the black lights had everybody glowing in my section of the gym. At the far end they had a selfie booth that was decorated very cool. They even had a few giant Rubick's Cubes. Great job Pawling and looking forward to coming back for another event next school year!

On February 9th I was back at Ridgefield Academy for the 6th-8th grade dance for around 60 students. This was their Valentine's Day dance. We had a nice sound system and also used our battery powered Party Bars which are so quick and easy to set up and look great! This was only a 90 minute event but the kids danced and sang A LOT as well as we played a few interactive games like Coke & Pepsi as well as a limbo. This is ALWAYS a fun group of students that love to have a great time. We always play a very diverse song selection and the students are always very polite. We will be back in May for the last dance of the year. This was our 2nd year in a row to be doing all the dances for the school. Looking forward to next school year with Ridgefield Academy.

On Friday, February 2nd I was back at St. Patrick's School in Yorktown Heights for their Father- Daughter dance from prek-8th grade with around 120 total guests. We had our DJ and Photo Booth at this event as well as a nice light show. We played a bunch of Taylor Swift as well as several group dances: Cotton Eye Joe, Cha Cha Slide and more. This was a semi-formal dinner dance with "A Night in Paris" theme, and they had plenty of food for everyone. The young ladies were all excited and danced and sang all night long. This was a fun group of guests and it was great to see everyone dressed up for a nice night out. The Dad's had a lot of dance moves as well and they enjoyed the Old School dance set. Fun time was had by ALL! The Dads were so excited at the end of the night for their special slow song with their daughter's. Then it was time to wrap things up. I will be doing a Fund Raiser for the school in April and will be seeing a bunch of the parents from here. Great job ladies!!
