Maternity, babies, kids & families were not our “niche” photography when we started out in 2017. We were well known for our wedding photos & videos. Then we transitioned to professional videos for business and patient education.

6 years later after getting married and starting our own family, we’ve had PLENTY of practice with photographing our own family’s memories. This integrated well with how we document your guys’ families and all of your life celebrations.

From conception to your babies growing up, graduating, and getting married - we’re loving this full cycle, documentary style of photography & filming. I’m personally loving this chapter in our business.

We’re back!!
I won’t sugar coat it. The healing process from my surgery has been rough. I got to talk to my surgeon yesterday and he told me he knew my recovery would be rough. Boy, IS IT.

But it sure does feel good to be back in the studio. I’m someone who CAN NOT sit still so I’m happy to be working again (with lots of breaks!)

Taking this one day at a time. I’m so happy seeing all your responses to your photos & videos. They’re pumping out!

It feels good to be back! This afternoon I was greeted by a lot of new faces in our inbox and it reminded me how much love we feel in our business.

I’m back at this beautiful garden again today for an engagement session! If you haven’t heard back from me today, I’ll be back in the studio again tonight and tomorrow evening. I can’t wait to show you pictures from today!

First Look with dad always gets me. Especially this one.

Dave & MJ welcomed me into their home before I got married. In those short months, I spent many nights hanging out with them on the couch watching tv, raiding their pantry, and sitting in the garage and hallway floor with “dad” just talking about life and the future. Dave & MJ have a special place in my heart and I will always call them mom & dad. How cool is it that I have 3 sets of parents?! 🥰

My favorite part of this is Max with Papa Dave. Thank you for taking me and my family as a part of your own.

Hi everyone, Michael here! Our best friend is getting married this weekend. Me, Alyssa and the kids are all part of the wedding, so we’re taking Friday-Monday off to focus all of our attention on this wedding weekend.

The past few weeks have been a blur for me. I felt like I was running on autopilot and couldn’t keep my thoughts together. The brain fog is real! I had blood testing done before my surgery next month (more about that on my personal IG ) and got a call back today. Turns out I’m deficient in Vitamin D 😅 Michael has been bugging me to take my Vitamin D and I wasn’t listening. Looks like it came to bite me in the butt 😂 everyone take your Vitamins! The sun is peaking out less and less these days!

Erica. My first friend after I transferred from a big city to a small town school. My gym buddy.

We went years without talking in our 20s because life happened. But as soon as we reconnected, it was like time never passed and I still loved you all the same.

Today you’re marrying Dave. He’s such a lucky man to have the honor of marrying someone as hilarious as you. Today I’m not going to cry (maybe,) but I’m going to celebrate this new, amazing chapter in your life.

Jamila & Gio at my new favorite location: The Hamstra Gardens. Oh my gosh. This place was BEAUTIFUL. I cannot believe how well kept and developed this land is! My dream is to have a place like this in my backyard. I’d throw my phone away and drink tea all day in the garden

I started off as a Registered Dental Hygienist 🦷 out of college and soon after found my passion in film & photography. Now this is my full time gig! My husband Michael graduated from Purdue Calumet as a Mechanical Engineer and at his day job, he designs fire sprinkler systems 🔥 💦

Kristin requested "The Office" themed video, but then asked for a video that would make her cry for years to come. So we did both. We interviewed some of their closest friends with that quirky, awkward "The Office" feel style and included that footage at the end. We even tied in some funny moments throughout the whole film! For any of my brides still on the hunt for Bridesmaids dresses, you GOTTA come to downtown Frankfort to check out Bridesmaids Social in the Trolley Barn, then come to Grounded after for lattes or eat in many of the cafes and restaurants here! I can’t stress how much I love Downtown Frankfort 🖤

Tuscany Falls, we meet again. Michael and I got to go back to our wedding reception hall after almost 2 years yesterday! We had the honor of filming Lexy + Tom's wedding and it was so beautiful! The details they put into their day - AHH! My favorite was their choreographed 1st dance to Dean Martin's "You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You" - why didn't I think of dance lessons for my wedding??
