The past 6 years have taught me so much about myself and my work, but way more about the world and how we remember it. Weddings are a cumulation of so many beautiful things about this life. Connection, commitment, grace, intention, gratefulness for the past, and hope for the future. Silliness, nervous excitement, and belly laughs too. The day where your loved ones gather and smiles aren’t scarce. This is what it’s about. It’s tempting to get caught up in the culture and expectation of weddings. But the reality of your day, however it’s designed, is so much better. I promise.
As I move more and more toward the people rather than the production, my work changes. I feel more creative and aligned with what I am doing than I ever have. Continuing to refine my art this year means some changes for my business.
Noah & I have been shooting film for our personal life for quite a few years, and we are so so excited to bring another thing we love to our clients. Noah is moving away from videoing weddings (ask him about what he’s been filming/working on these days instead, it’s really cool). Part of us was sad about his subject shift because so much of our relationship has been doing this job together, so we knew he couldn’t walk away completely. The Digital & Film package is a multifaceted and ethereal way to have your day captured. This way of remembering love stories is even more purposeful, and feels so nostalgic to us. Noah has an incredible eye for out of the ordinary (but beautiful) moments. He also develops and scans all of our film at home. He is an incredible storyteller and creative, but is so technical at the same time. We are so excited to meet you!
Thanking the Lord for this life & this job every day. We are nothing without Him.

A collision of color, texture, design, and fashion. Joslyn and I thoughtfully planned every detail, and this truly feels like an expression of us. From the beginning of planning, our ideas fit together perfectly, and the thought of curating this shoot not only filled our creative tanks, but made us so excited for our wedding seasons to come. I am going into this year with a fresh outlook on my work, and a refreshed soul. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this day, not only are each of you immensely talented, but we had so much fun creating together.

This set is called “anything but the portraits”
The more I shoot the more I realize each piece of your day calls for a different type of photographer,
Getting Ready: A peaceful & joyful presence.
Portraits: An encourager, artist, and creative director.
Ceremony & Reception: A superhero. Be everywhere, but go unnoticed.
I love it all.
Photos of the bride and groom, moments through their eyes, and also the things they don’t see.
I love a timeline that flows and a creatively posed image. But I also commit to documenting the in-betweens of your day. Making you laugh, and feel at ease. Directing you in a way that keeps you in the moment instead of pulling you out. The hugs at each table, reactions during toasts, lovers on the dance floor. I believe in paying attention. Noticing the things you don’t.
