Hello fellow vendor friends and sweet brides! I know it’s been quite some time since I’ve posted so I thought I would reintroduce myself! My name is Carleigh and I am the owner of Carleigh Long design + coordination. We are a company passionate about custom, luxury, and unique weddings that are all about you! We are passionate about the details and love curating the timeless wedding of your dreams. We have gone through some changes over the last year and can’t wait to work with some amazing couples as they plan their perfect day with our team!

A little bit about me- I am a wife, mother to 2 precious babies, lover of coffee, and all things pretty! Designing your day is my favorite part of the planning process and I can’t wait to see your vision come to life!

Now, to start catching you up on my 2022 amazing year of weddings! First up is my precious destination couple, Shea and Andrew!

Y’all, I cannot say enough about my time with these 2 precious people. From start to finish, this couple (and really their whole family) radiated joy. Their desire was to take a special trip with their family and to spend their wedding day loving on everyone around them. One of my favorite parts of their planning process was getting to design this long family table. I loved the intimate dinner they shared (and y’all they even set a seat for myself and my husband!❤️). I noticed some new faces around here so I thought I would take a minute to introduce myself 🥰 Hi! My name is Carleigh and I am the owner of Carleigh Long design + coordination! I am a wife, mother of 2, and lover of all things pretty 🥰

My favorite part of the planning process is sketching out your design-from colors, to florals, to table settings, I just LOVE seeing your vision for the day come to life. My favorite part of your wedding day? When I come in to check on you in the bridal suite and I see that you are relaxed, smiling, and enjoying being a bride with your girls and your family. Nothing brings me more joy than knowing I can take the burden of the day-of details off your plate so that you and your family can enjoy your wedding.

What started as a dream back in 2018 has grown to so much more than I ever expected. After working in events and weddings from 2014-2018 with different companies, I decided-with the encouragement of some sweet friends & family-to step out and start my own business. Over the years I have had the honor and privilege of walking through the planning and design process with so many incredible couples. I am thankful for each and every one who has asked me to join them during this special season and I could not love what I do more. Hello sweet brides and fellow vendors 🥰 I know I have been MIA for a couple of months…now you know why! Let me introduce you to our sweet baby boy, Jack Mercy❤️ We are head over hills in love with this precious boy and have been soaking up each and every moment as a family of 4.

Thank you for sticking around while I took this time to recover, heal, and bond with my family. Jack has had quite an adventure in his health journey-which made my maternity leave a little more hectic than planned-so I appreciate all the grace and patience I have received from my brides and fellow vendors. I can’t wait to get back to a job I LOVE and am so honored to get to do. I appreciate your continued patience as I work through all of your emails, DM’s and messages over the last couple of months!💕

I’m coming off an amazing weekend with an open house at the beautiful and now I’m getting ready for another open house this month at the gorgeous ! I love working with my favorite venues & I love and getting the opportunity to meet so many of you in person! Y’all I am overwhelmed by all the sweet comments and messages of congratulations to my little fam. I am truly blessed to have the best brides and the most amazing industry friends. This is such a special time for our family and I am thankful to be able to share this joy with all of you!
January has been incredibly busy with all the family things and all the client meetings-brides this is the best time to meet with vendors! January is generally a slower time in the wedding world so use this time to get all your questions answered and to reach out to get your favorite vendors booked! It’s a busy Monday of answering emails and chasing my precious 2 year old. I’m finalizing details for my sweet November brides (y’all these November weddings are going to be INCREDIBLE 😍) and designing my table for the open house! This weekend was full of things that make my heart sing. Saturday was spent with close friends and family while we celebrated my precious baby girl turning 2. On Sunday I spent the day creating with some of my favorite vendor friends-I can’t wait to show you more from that shoot! 🥰 It’s incredible to see what can be created when passionate vendors come together with the magnificent talents with which the Lord has blessed them. It was truly a gift to be part of such a special day❤️

Hello lovelies! I have been on a bit of a posting break so I could spend some time with my family this summer! I had a gorgeous wedding this month but took the remainder of the month off to rest and to dream. Part of this time included a wonderful week with my husband in Riviera Maya! We had an amazing week together and I am so thankful for the time to rest. Now I’m ready to hit the ground running for all of my beautiful July weddings! One of my favorite things about a wedding is seeing my brides be confident in their skin. Now, you may be thinking, of course they feel confident! They just had their hair and make-up done and they are in an absolutely gorgeous gown! But this is not what I’m referring to. Brides look confident and gorgeous on their wedding day because they have found the one their souls loves. They know that on that day they are becoming one with the man that they love and they are radiating joy. What a magnificently beautiful sight ❤️

Happy Monday everyone! I’m coming off a wedding weekend and heading into wedding week for sweet .awe.sam! I have been working with Sam and Steve for almost a year now and I can’t believe we are finally at their wedding week! We have had a blast picking out every vendor, choosing a color palette, working with the florist to design their flowers, creating a beautiful table setting, and more importantly, getting to know a sweet couple! Y’all, as much as I love helping you design a gorgeous day, nothing compares to getting to know my couples. It is a joy and an honor to get to know the 2 of you through this process. Y’all I can’t wait to share a project that I have been really excited about! The Barn at Paradise approached me about designing an open house for them and I am so excited to share what we have come up with! This Sunday, join us at their open house from 1-4 as we transport you to fashion week in Paris! Complete with a real fashion show showcasing dresses from local shops, hair and makeup by some of DFW’s best artists, whimsical florals, delicious treats, and so much more!
