I’m standing alongside not just one of my incredible couples, but three. The bride and groom at the center of this moment, and two other couples whose love stories I’ve had the privilege of celebrating in past ceremonies. The best part about it: a year and a half ago I didn’t know any of these people.

So in that moment, it hit me: this is bigger than just a single wedding day. I’m witnessing the ripple effect of love, laughter, and commitment—six families, their futures, and the countless milestones ahead. It’s humbling to know I’ve played even a small role in laying the foundation for the journeys they’ve begun.

This is why I pour so much into telling your love story during the ceremony. It’s not just about one moment—it’s about creating a day that reflects your story and sets the stage for an even bigger adventure.

I can’t wait to share even more about these incredible couples once I get some wedding photos from their big days! Trust me, their stories are just as amazing as the love they share.

As I reflect on Sydney and Andrew's big day, now exactly four months ago, I am filled with gratitude for the trust they placed in me to officiate their wedding. From our first meeting, it was clear that their love story was something special, and being chosen to be a part of that journey was truly an honor. Their fantastic review warmed my heart and served as a reminder of the wonderful bond we formed throughout the planning process. I cherished every moment we spent discussing their dreams for the day, and their friendship means so much to me.

I must admit, I feel a bit guilty for not posting and celebrating them sooner, but as I share these reflections, it signifies that my time with them has officially come to an end. They were my first couple to book me over a year in advance, a milestone I will always treasure. It was a year filled with laughter, planning, and reliving their beautiful love story, which I enjoyed immensely. Thank you, Sydney and Andrew, for allowing me to be a part of your special day and for the memories we created together. I wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness.

Writing a ceremony for two people who share almost the same name has been a unique challenge—imagine double-checking who’s who in their love story at every turn! But what truly stands out is their beautiful bond, filled with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. Don’t mind the tired eyes… just wrapped up October with a personal record – 17 weddings officiated.

What a way to close out the month, and I’m thrilled to finish it off at Lilies and Blush Events' Bridal Show at The Pastures at Fertile Green Farms —a stunning, up-and-coming venue that’s going to make waves in the wedding scene. The natural beauty here is breathtaking, and I can’t wait to see future couples celebrate their love in such a picturesque setting.

This journey has grown beyond anything I imagined—now booking into 2025 and 2026. But let’s be real… 17 weddings in one month? Probably not doing that again.

A special thank you to my incredible wife, the glue holding everything together while I chase this dream. I promise, more family time is coming this winter.

I’m thrilled to be officiating the wedding of Jonathan and Antoinette! Their love story began in Manayunk, where a chance meeting at a pub turned into something extraordinary. From their first date at Jake and Cooper’s Wine Bar to sharing their love for discovering new restaurants, hiking, and bike rides, they’ve built a beautiful life together. One of the things that makes their relationship so special is how they complement each other—balancing fun, spontaneity, and support in all they do.

Confession time: wedding season has been a whirlwind, and truth be told—I’m not the biggest fan of social media. It’s why I’ve been quiet on here lately, but my couples deserve to be celebrated, even if it’s weeks or months later. Yesterday, I received this message from one of my recent couples, and it completely lifted my spirits.

With 7 ceremonies this weekend alone, things have been busy, but no matter how packed the schedule gets, I always bring my all to every ceremony. It’s one of the most important days in your life, and I believe each couple deserves a moment that feels unique and unforgettable.

As the first of September marks the beginning of fall wedding season, I wanted to introduce myself to all the new prospective couples searching for the right officiant to join them in marriage on what is sure to be one of the biggest days of their lives.

Hi, I’m Kevin Harper—a wedding officiant with a passion for crafting ceremonies that truly reflect the love stories of the couples I unite. Since becoming an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church in 2010, I’ve had the privilege of celebrating love in all its beautiful forms, working with couples from diverse backgrounds to create ceremonies that are personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.

I’m also a full-time firefighter and an active member of our firefighters’ union, heavily involved in advocating for my fellow firefighters. I serve as president of a local foundation, supporting causes that make a difference in our community. These roles have taught me the importance of commitment, trust, and the power of community—values I bring into every wedding I officiate.

On a personal note, I’m a devoted husband to my beautiful wife Rachel and a proud father to our two sons, Kaven and Weston. I’m a lifelong baseball fan (go Phillies!) and love telling stories and creating. Whether it’s through designing a unique ceremony or diving into a creative project, I’m always looking for ways to bring originality and warmth to everything I do.

What makes my approach special is my ability to blend fun with heartfelt sincerity. I believe your ceremony should be as unique as you—full of moments that capture your story, values, and dreams for the future. I’m still catching up on the ceremonies, and it’s always awesome to get photos back from the photographer. The pictures from Samara and William’s wedding are absolutely beautiful!

That day in May was a little dreary, with the rain wanting to stay. As I headed to Swan Lake Resort, the weather seemed like it might dampen the day. But Samara was determined—this wedding was going to happen outdoors, no matter what. Swan Lake had everything perfectly prepared for the weather, and just as I walked down to the dock for their ceremony, the rain stopped. It was as if the sky knew it was time to set the stage for a moment filled with love, laughter, and the promise of an exciting future.

Samara and William, your day was nothing short of magical, and I’m honored to have been a part of it. Here’s to many more years of joy and happiness!

One year ago, Catherine and Nathan celebrated their love in an intimate ceremony at Historic Smithville Park. It was a hot summer day, but the warmth of the sun was outshined by the love they shared and the laughter of their children that filled the air. The setting was perfect for the beginning of their new chapter together, surrounded by nature and the joyful echoes of family.

Officiating vow renewals felt like spinning a vintage record of eternal love, as these remarkable pairs shared their journey of 67, 60, 57, and 18 years together. Special thanks to Alicia at Arbor Terrace for orchestrating such a heartwarming celebration of love!
