Want to know a glimpse of what it is like to break down a player for the American Football Southern Bowl? Cromartie gives you a brief look into what we looked for at the Cornerback position. Excellent film breakdown. What you see in the games, a lot of times isn't a receiver, quarterback or running back struggling -it is phenomenal defense. Players spend hours upon hours in the meeting and film rooms breaking down opponents, looking for an edge -any tendency to give away what play, route or run is coming. Peterson and Revis are not the best because of athletic ability (albeit they have plenty), they are the best because they are meticulous and perfectionists. Preparation is the most important aspect of a football game, learning the game, playbook and philosophy is just as important, if not more so, than a 4.24 forty time.
