I got the privilege of shooting this sweet girls senior pictures yesterday! I have known her since she was in 5th grade and she feels like a bonus daughter to me. Her mom is one of my closest friends and when they moved halfway across the country it was so hard on me and my family. We love them all like they were our own family. But they came for a visit and she asked me if I would shoot her senior portraits. Of course I said YES!! I can’t wait to share her gorgeous session with you all 💕

Got to hang out with these two amazing girlies for their cap and gown sessions tonight! I met them both about a week ago and knew that this session would be fun after doing their prom pictures! I can’t wait to see the impact these ladies will have on this world!

When you and your bestie decide to treat yourselves to a prom photoshoot because it’s your senior prom and you want to remember it forever!!

These girls were so much fun to have in front of my camera! Their friendship dynamic had me rolling! These two are the ones who will be trying to escape from their nursing home when they’re old 🤣 I can’t wait to see them again for their cap and gown session tonight!

I got to spend Saturday morning with this cute momma and daughter duo in my studio! You guys! I cannot wait to share their pictures! The studio has been so amazing. I get to look through the amazing and beautiful pictures taken in there and get to finally see that I made really great decisions that photograph seamlessly! Once you see these photos you are going to want to get in there yourself 💕

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!

Guys! I have a huge announcement! My studio has its first set in it!! This is an unofficial soft launch as my studio isn’t completely finished. But it’s done enough to offer this special opportunity…

When you are a senior rep for me, we celebrate your whole senior year! When you receive you cap, gown, and cords in the spring you will get to do a cap and gown mini session (normally $250) for free! I was trying to decide if I was going to offer something for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, or Cyber Monday.

But it was late and cold and the concrete was pretty hard by the time we got back from running kids all around the valley. Yet I know deep in my soul that this is the start of the most amazing chapter in my business, even if I didn’t get it all written into the foundation!

It’s your golden hour!

Your senior session is all about capturing who you are and in 20 years be able to look back and know exactly who you were in your last year of high school. Having a photographer who can do that for you is crucial. You have to have a photographer who you can vibe with and trust! This is all about you!

Fall family photos are a staple in most households, but this year try a different color palette and see how amazing the results will be!!

You don’t have to stick with colors that are obviously fall colors. There are lots of different colors that will feel like fall but compliment the natural fall colors in nature without blending in.

I did a thing yesterday that was so uncomfortable for me! I got in front of the camera instead of behind it. I’ve been redoing and updating my website and realized the headshots I have on there are from 2020 and begrudgingly realized I needed to update those.

So I did my hair and makeup, which if you know me you know my hair is almost always in a claw clip or a messy bun and my makeup is nonexistent 😊, and my husband and daughter came with me to take the photos.

My daughter has actually come along on sessions with me and has learned how to use my camera pretty well as long as I set all the important things. She ended up taking most of them. This is just a selfie before we headed out, but I will post some of our favorites this week.
