We will be working with artists, venues and promoters to establish a center of communication, assisting on bookings, marketing materials for local artists and those being brought in from out of town. By working together we can create more credibility among the scene and present ourselves more professionally. In turn adding to artist credibility and revenue potential. This is about coming together as a collective in order for the hip-hop scene to thrive and prosper. Involvement in The Summit is at the artists' discretion and WELCOME TO ALL willing to conduct themselves as professionals. Some will be more active than others. Those that are more actively involved will more than likely be the ones that begin to make bigger and more consistent moves. We can all only benefit by helping each other in mutually beneficial roles. How to become connected with those in those mutually beneficial roles may have been difficult in the past. As previously noted, The Summit is acting as a central of communication for networking, promotion and ideas. Our goal with The Summit is to establish a home base for artists to create mutually beneficial relationships- “mutually” beneficial being the key word. This will help MAXIMIZING EVERYONE"S INDIVIDUAL TALENTS AND EFFORTS. Not all artists will want to network with each other nor should they. However, if there is an artist, photographer, venue, etc you are wanting to get a hold of, work with or need a contact to, The Summit is your center for reference. From here, somebody will be able to connect you with the necessary and willing contacts. FROM NOW ON, ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT NETWORKING WITH OTHER ARTISTS, VIDEO SHOOTS, BOOKING, MUSIC PROMOTION, ETC ETC. CAN BE ANSWERED AND DIRECTED THROUGH THE SUMMIT
