When to have a champagne toast?

As your coordinator I help create a timeline for your wedding day. This includes when speeches and toast should be done.

I get asked a lot when should we do a champagne toast. There are a few natural moments where this can be done.

One way to start, a champagne toast is typically the first toast given during the reception, this speech should be "a welcome speech" usually by the father of the bride or groom, before the first course is served.

This way you can keep yours and whoever catches it has something to take home.

Traditionally, your wedding party would be introduced first, with the newlyweds being introduced at the very end.

A modern take on that would be, the newlyweds would be introduced first and the couple would introduce and give a little info on their bridal party.
