Our Story
Hi there! My name is Whitney! Thank you so much for visiting! I love people and my goal is to show the heart of those I have the opportunity to capture. I also enjoy showcasing what would normally be seen as simple and ordinary by illuminating the beauty inside for all to see.
Please feel free to explore my photos either here or on my website. I am currently not offering my services as a photographer at this time, as I am transitioning into a new photography experience! More info coming soon so please stay tuned! Experience: Photographer and Media Specialist for North State Productions. Nov. 2014 - Jan. 2016 Photographer for Lifetouch National School Portrait Studios, June 2012-Nov. 2014. Trained in sports, environmental, panoramics, groups, dances, graduations, seniors, families, portraits, events, and candid photography. Alainn Anam "Beautiful Soul" Photography Photographer/Founder June 2011-Present. "The eyes makes the picture, not the camera." ~Gisele Freund, female photographer What's in a name? Alainn Anam is Gaelic--I loved the terminology of "beautiful soul" for the title of my photographic services, but I wanted the full title to be very different, in order to more accurately reflect my photography, while still using my own name. So, I found the Gaelic terms for "beautiful" and "soul", put them together and presto! I had a very different name. I am also Irish, so I felt this very much reflects and honors my heritage.
