A FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT: It's time to write a new book...
Le Festin Events was formally created in 2010 after years of having been a corporate event planner and consultant in Los Angeles. In the past 12 years, I had steadily grown my business with courage, heart, unrelentless tenacity and always with the understanding that to succeed, one must ALWAYS continue to learn, change and aim high above mediocrity and the mundane .
I have learned that when you climb up that hill, it is always going to be in your best interest to surround yourself with honest people whom you admire and can learn from. You should also help push others who have the drive, talent, and courage up that hill with you.
In the past 12 years, I write humbly, but with confidence that Le Festin Events brought top-notch weddings and events, new concepts and challenging ideas to the Central Coast events industry, have been a motivator, teacher, and steadfast cheerleader to both budding and experienced businesses (SO proud of your guys), but most of all – brought togetherness in various shapes and form.
Like for so many the pandemic and in my case - coupled with a move back to SoCAL, gave me such wake-up call and new perspective on the things that matter most. Although Le Festin Events has been so synonymous with who I am, writing a new volume in this progression of life has been long overdue.
It is with happiness and sadness (just a tiny smidgen) that I formally announce that as of June 1st 2022, Le Festin Events will be but a whirlwind of an experience and a giant stepping stone to writing a new chapter in my personal and professional lives.
I have come to a moment where I am more confident in what truly means the most to me; family, friends, happiness, mental and physical well-being, progression, empowering women AND yes, still creating some truly kick ass events. Hello? Who has two thumbs and throws a damn great party? This gal!
So, as this door closes, my perky hot buns are already onto the next step. Starting a fire with some kindling. I am now focused on what started out as a passion project inspired by the amazing women in my life to what is now full steam in the works as a new business. I so look forward to sharing that with you all - in time.
So, for now... SLO Pop-Up Weddings is still available for elopements and minis - and fellow events folks, don’t hesitate to tap into me for design or business guidance. I do very much still expect to stay in touch.
THANK YOU to all of the amazing vendors whom I have worked with. Those of you who are cream of the crop, you know who you are because I have told you so. I will continue to cheer for you and follow you from your business endeavors to your posts of family trips on social.
