Hello, my name is Chef Lovee.
I am a Personal Chef & Caterer, Fiancee, and Mother. My passion for food and cooking is like the air I breathe, but still doesn’t compare to the time I love spending with my family. Although I would stay home with my family forever if I could, I also have a genuine love and passion for cooking and serving others. I aim to exceed expectations, and cater to all my clients individually.
At 15, I got my first job at Target and even though I loved interacting with people, I was so bored that I often daydreamed about falling asleep in the bathroom,….honestly. Before 16, I started working at Boston Market, and I have remained a part of the food industry ever since. By 18, I had experience as a host, busser, and server ranging from family style dining to fine dining. In 2015, I opened my first "in-home" studio while also attending Full Sail University. Working as a server, I realized how much I love connecting with people and catering to others. However, to help me get through school and fund my recording studio, I needed something more financially reliable, which lead to my first real “kitchen” job as a dishwasher.
I trained to become a prep cook, and climbed the ladder to eventually becoming the Executive (head) Chef of my own kitchen. When my dog fell ill (being the naturalista that I am), I tried to find homemade remedies that would cure him. That's when I stumbled upon the importance of canine nutrition. That was the birth of YumAhzeeYum, which was my first home-based food business that sold home-made dog food and treats.
When I became pregnant, I left the corporate kitchen and started cooking personally for some of the clients I already had from YumAhzeeYum. That was the start of my own Personal Chef and Catering business, MixingMama. What started as me coming to cook and clean for my clients, grew to providing weekly meal preps, date nights, cooking classes, and event catering. Before I knew it, I had a full business and it was time to hire more people.
MixingMama was created so that I could spend more time with my family, which is where my company’s core values stemmed from.
