I've been told by many I need too check out videos from last night and I will before I make judgment calls on anyone. I will be giving out one and only warnings to whoever were the issue. I preach about it all the time I will NOT tolerate bombing or rough driving in general I don't care if it's a RWYB or UAS event these karts have a lot of speed to be driving without respect for one another and as long I'm the administrator that's how it's gonna be. So with that being said you see a message or phone call coming in from me be prepared for the conversation we're about to have.
On August 10th at Delaware Speedway will be adding a Jr UAS 1/4 point along with the regular regional race. Also better mention Koty Benhart will be my eyes and in charge for that weekend also as I won't be able to make it. I trust him to make the right calls if it comes down to it! If it comes to a rain date we will reschedule it to August 17th if Delaware runs that weekend. Got any questions feel free to comment or pm me!
First off gotta thank Newton Kart Klub for letting us race with them last night was a great night! We had 6 karts last night which I'm still more then happy about it was a holiday weekend so I do understand the guys that didn't make it. Gotta Congratulate Joe Womachil for a dominate win last night! Still showing the young guns how it's done! Also a special thanks to Cash Hodson for making the trip from Colorado to run with us! I will get points figured out today and get standings posted.
Looks like it's gonna be a great day of racing at Newton Kart Klub ! I will not be racing myself so if you got any questions come find me will most likely be walking around or in Koty Benharts pit area.

Ok talked to the man himself said he is planning on 2 sets of hot laps 10 laps each with 1 heat race with the other classes so we will do the same to make it easier for everyone. Only thing is we might have a vote on how many feature laps you guys want during the drivers meeting was thinking 15 myself cause let's face it. It's Newton Kart Klub there is a lot of G's at that place and will be people falling out of the seat me being one of them I'll admit it! But like I said there will be a vote on that during drivers meeting. Got any questions or opinions feel free to comment on here!
On the July 6th race at Newton Kart Klub is the 1/4 point/make up regional race so will be a double points night! You have to be a member to run this event! Also throwing around the idea of 2 sets of hot laps and 1 heat race then go into feature...so would be 1 set of hot laps with a optional 2nd set of hot laps if someone wants to go out there... drivers and kart owners let me know what you want should we keep 1 set of hotlaps and two heat races or go with 2 sets of hot laps and 1 heat race?

With as many karts as we have. We would like to do something special this year. This year's Iowa regional champion will get a leather jacket totally custom made with the Iowa UAS logo on there and there name...the logo is in the works of getting a face lift also....now if anyone would like to help sponsor part of this jacket or whole thing your companies logo will also be on it! Or if you just want to be a good citizen and help out any amount would help dramatically! Got any questions let me know!
Just need to get this out there you must be a member to attend the UAS 1/4 point at Newton Kart Klub coming up I am not accepting applications at the track you have tons of time to get to me before hand also it is a double points night! What I mean by that is it's gonna go towards your national ranking and regional points standings. Got any questions let me know!
All the new members who raced on Saturday please pm me info like kart number, hometown, age and engine combo need to send points in and would like to do it by this weekend...previous members if you have a new chassis or engine combo you would like to change please let me know!
Koty Benhart Feature winner Saturday night!
Gonna be a longer post but first thing I'd like to thank everyone that came last night and thank Delaware Speedway for having us! Having 13 karts on the first night out just seems unreal to me considering we used to be a 2 kart field few years ago and for that I thank everyone! I know stuff happened last night but to me it all look like just hard racing. I really wish I had a video of the feature you guys put on a really good show also if you got pictures you want to share send them over to me and I'll get them posted when i can and If someone does have video of the feature please get ahold of me so we can get something posted on here! Second thing gotta Congratulate Koty Benhart on the WIN! Dawson Hamdorf come up and was giving him a great race. Also gotta mention Joe Womachil lead I think pert near 3/4 of the race showing the young bucks how it was done! Bryan Nevins Jr was fighting his motor all day and started in the rear and fighting for the lead with Joe it was fun to watch! Now it's time to move on to Newton Kart Klub! I will have feature results posted asap
13 UAS karts has entered tonight!
Just a quick reminder if you are rough driving like bombing and such you will have points stripped and a 1 race suspension. I know it's racing and stuff happens but there is a difference between the two. These karts are going quick around there so there's no need for bashing. Give each other respect out there and have fun tonight!

Tomorrow night we welcome the stars and karts of the Iowa UAS ! Very powerful open karts zipping around the racetrack!!!
Eastern Iowa Spray Foam & Waterproofing LLC has added $ to UAS feature. 1st will pay $200, 2nd $100 and 3rd $50!
Normal weekly show consisting of hotlaps, two heat races, and a feature.
Gates open at 3. Drivers meeting at 5:45, Racing to follow!

I am gonna cancel this weekends UAS race at Newton Kart Klub. Just the UAS class they will continue with there weekly racing but not very many guys are ready for this weekend and I want everyone to get a chance at the points this year...I want drivers/kart owners to comment if they prefer me to schedule another race or prefer me to have a double points night at Newton on the July 6th race that would be a national 1/4 point and a regional points race. I'll do whatever majority wants to do.
