How do you successfully throw a surprise party without the guest of honor finding out? You hire a professional! That frees you up to act cool during the whole planning process, knowing it’s aaaaall taken care of. Today, Illume Event Planning had the honor of throwing a surprise 40th birthday party for a husband whose wife wanted him to be celebrated in a big way! SHE was able to just show up, enjoy relaxed time with family and friends without worrying about any details. HE was taken to the venue (for a quick drink) and was surprised by over 50 friends and family members who all gathered together to honor him!!

It warmed our hearts and we were so happy to play a part! Thank you Suzanna Hartrick Hedden!

Happy Siblings Day to my sisters!

This was such a meaningful day. My twin sister didn’t quite have her dream wedding when she and her husband were married in 1999. 10 years later we threw her a proper wedding to celebrate their first decade of marriage, and her dreams came true!!

I started Illume Events in March 2018 after planning parties for friends and family for over 13 years. With a professional background in Interior design and studies in Event Planning, I enjoy planning events with creativity, attention to detail and a personal touch that leads guests to feel special, welcome and loved.

I do milestone birthdays (yes, for adults!), bridal and baby showers, graduation parties, weddings, anniversaries and celebrations of life.

I offer package options ranging from Party Crates (rental of everything you need for your event), to full service planning, decorating and “day of” ex*****on of the entire event so you can enjoy your loved one without the stress.
