Quick turnaround..with all the rain forecasted we are going to serve Tuesday 6/18 in Fontanelle for dinner 5-7…and we think many will be very happy knowing we will be serving
*Grilled chicken Caesar salads (hand cut Romaine lettuce, Parmesan, croutons and homemade Caesar dressing)
*Grilled chicken Caesar wraps
*Chicken Alfredo (grilled chicken on top of noodles covered in homemade Alfredo sauce with side of Caesar salad and bread)

We were very fortunate enough to feed over 1800 meals the last 7 times we served free meals again due to donations. We feel very very fortunate we could give back and make some Souls Shine during these darkest days. We have catering event this week but will be out and about next week. Thank you to everyone for allowing us to do a small part in the healing process. 💚🙏💚🚌☀️🚌

We want to thank each and every person that helped make it possible for us to feed our friends, customers and whole community FREE during this terrible time. Thank you to you for donating meat for us to cook and serve, thank you to you for offering to get groceries or supplies, thank you to you for dropping supplies off at the house even if we weren’t here, thank you for the monetary donations. All of YOU made it possible to help in a time of need.
Tonight Wednesday 6/5 will be our last free meal for the community. We will be at the Home Store around 4:30. We will have
*beef burritos (these are NOT like regular Soulshine burritos) tortilla filled with our seasoned rice and beans, seasoned hamburger and cheese
*Smoked Sausage donated by The Pony Express of Iowa Adair county (they’ve got a little kick)
*skinless jalapeno/cheddar brats
*smoked brats
*1/4 pound hot dogs
*Soulshine Chili…add it to any of the above for extra deliciousness

Greenfield friends we are coming back tomorrow (Thursday 5/30) at the Home Store around 4. We will have smoked pork loin sandwiches, Soulshine Joe (our version of a sloppy Joe), 1/4 pound hot dogs, and smoked brats. ALL FREE thanks to the continued donations of supplies!! 🚌🙏🚌

We are sorry we ran out and had to turn people away. In the last 5 days we have served over 1200 people and couldn’t be more thankful that we were able to do so. Again thank you so much for the outpouring support of donations, meat, willingness to get groceries, to help in truck all of it matters and helps. We are going to take a few days off to regroup and figure out what’s next. 🚌🙏🚌

Are we tired..yep but we keep repeating “we are blessed, we have a home, we are safe, we have no damage..so we cook” we served over 230 again tonight and will be back tomorrow 5/26. Sunday dinner…pot roast, potatoes, carrots, green beans and gravy …comfort food to help you get thru. Then we will are going to take a few days off to regroup and be back next week. We love our community and it makes us feel a little better knowing we are helping by making souls shine. 🚌💛🚌 thank you again to EVERYONE who has donated so we are able to help, you are so appreciated.

Thankful for being able to help our broken community. Greatful for the donations of money, supplies, meat, willingness to help in anyway so we can serve and feed those hurting, helping and healing. In the past three days we have served almost 1000 meals and we plan on serving through the weekend and holiday. We will be back at St. John's Catholic Church, Greenfield tomorrow 5/25 around 4 again. Makes our hearts swell seeing everyone helping in someway and at every age. 🚌🙏🚌

Headed back to St Johns Catholic Church today 5/24 hopefully up by 4. We are running a little behind today as we were sending food to families in the country. Come see us we will have smoked pulled pork, Soulshine Mac n cheese and hot dogs. FREE thanks to all the amazing donations 🚌🙏🚌

Thursday 5/23 we will be at the donation center.. St. John Catholic Church in Greenfield they want us to start serving around 2. We are going to serve Soulshine sloppy joes, pasta with red meat sauce and hot dogs. Again all FREE thanks to the outpouring donations we have received. We don’t know where we will park yet - but we are planning on smoking some pork loin - having hot dogs probably a few other things to help feed people in need or the people that are helping clean up tomorrow in Greenfield free of charge. We are trying to get things figured out - more to come! 🚌🙏🙏🙏

Soulshine is ending the week and year with a wedding (after 5 basketball games, archery practice, platter pick ups, basketball Christmas dinner, and lunch for wedding party) . Huge thank you to our girl’s Ashlyn Gutierrez and Taryn for helping us tonight. And congratulations to Brett Thompson and Taylen Abarr! 💛💛
