MSGA board members have been in the Des Moines, Iowa area selling ads for the program book we will have for this year’s 2024 convention and sing in October. If you know of a business in the area that might advertise and support us, leave us a comment. Blessings and hope to see you this year at the Holiday Inn Airport on October 4 and 5.

Plans are underway for the 35th Annual Midwest Southern Gospel Association Convention Sing. Mark your calendars for October 4 and 5 at the Holliday Inn Airport in Des Moines, Iowa. We have a rooms set aside for this sing at a special rate. When you call you must mention the Midwest Southern Gospel Convention to get our rate. We did run out of rooms at the special rate last year so we recommend you book early. Look for more posts about the convention. This page is the best place to get your questions answered.

The 2023 MSGA convention held at the Holiday Inn Airport in Des Moines is fast approaching. The hotel's number is 515-287-2400. You must reserve your room by Sept. 15 to get our special rate of $105 + tax. Be sure and tell them you are coming to the Midwest Southern Gospel Association convention. They also have pet friendly rooms for an additional $25 a day. The cafe serves breakfast and is open for a few hours in the evening for supper. It is not open in the late morning or afternoon. We have 15 groups this year but are still confirming that all will be coming. We will continue to post. Please share the event and let friends know we are working on getting the website updated.

MSGA fans, our 2023 convention is coming quickly Oct. 6 and 7 at the Holiday Inn Airport in Des Moines, Iowa. We have groups from all over the Midwest, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri coming to perform. It is still a free event with love offerings accepted. If you want to stay at the hotel, there is a special room rate for MSGA fans. However you must get your room by Sept. 15. Be sure and tell them you are attending the MSGA Convention to get the special rate.
They also have pet friendly rooms for a bit extra per night. Please share this with your friends. We will posting more info soon.

Convention time is here. Starting Friday Oct. 7 , fourteen of the Midwest's best southern gospel groups will be singing at the Holiday Inn Airport in Des Moines, Iowa. For two days staring at noon each day you can come and receive the blessing of hope and joy found in the message of saving grace and mercy found in Jesus Christ. This is a free event, very family friendly, and in a great venue. Plan to come and spend both days from noon until around 7pm.

MSGA fans, convention is coming quickly. Oct. 7 and 8 at the Holiday Inn Airport in Des Moines, Iowa. We have 15 groups from all over the Midwest coming to perform. It is still a free event with love offerings accepted. If you want to stay at the hotel, there is a special room rate for MSGA fans. However you must get your room by Sept. 15. The 3rd annual Spring Sing is scheduled for the Saturday after the first day of spring at Liberty Baptist Church, March 26th at 12:30 pm until approximately 5:30 pm. The church is located at 7461 North Brown Station Road Columbia, MO. Many Gospel singing groups from MO and other states will gather to sing in some SONshine! No admission will be charged, but a love offering will be taken, and we do ask that you consider the group's expenses as you donate. Come for a few hours, or all day! Groups scheduled to appear are: The Ambassadors of Grace, The Matt Carroll Family, The Larry DeLawder Family, The Formans, Hillsong, Judy Todd, The Liberty Belles, The Liberty Praise Team, The Messengers, and The Messengers of Faith. We MAY also have a special visit from Barney Fife!!! (Please note: groups and times may change due to unforeseen circumstances.) Please come and enjoy some great music and fellowship--bring a friend!
