This is a grandiose statement but one that is backed by friends, family, clients, colleagues and acquaintances. e around her, and in living a fulfilled life is a magnetic quality that is treasured among those that know her.
“How can I apply my various life passions into one career”? “How can I do everything that I love?” This question plagued Catherine because most of the responses she received from her inner circle were similar to, “Focus on one thing and be great at it.”
While this statement may work for many, the opposite was true for Catherine. Of course she would continue her passion for producing weddings, but she would also pursue the interests that kept her mind moving. She would mold her career path to encompass wedding planning, fashion AND family- the fundamental elements that make Catherine, Catherine. With her strong-willed confidence and drive to overcome obstacles, the CBS Lifestylist brand has come to fruition. Combining her creativity with excellent social modicum, Catherine united her subjects of interest into a career that most would deem unrelated and impossible to do. She has broken the mold in pursuing ‘one great thing’ and is creating for herself a career that is helping others while helping herself. Hailing originally from Nogales, Arizona, a small town on the border of Mexico and the United States, Catherine now resides in sunny, beachside San Diego, California. She is one of 9 children and a triplet girl. Planning parties, weddings, and the styling of her sisters’ wardrobes dates back to her teenaged years. She is a mother of two sweet, gentle and amazing sons, Lucas 11 and Max 8. “Motherhood,” she says, “teaches true selflessness and how to prioritize life.”
Catherine has been a wedding planner for 11 years and styling clients for 3 years. She spent the past 2 years writing her book, with a 2011 launch date, and was also certified in a parenting course called Redirecting Children’s Behavior in 2010.

Catherine’s Story

Catherine Bachelier is the founder of CB StyleMaker, a California-based wedding, event and wardrobe-styling business. Catherine is Southern California’s go-to source for personal styling and event management. With nearly 20 years of experience, Catherine has created unforgettable memories, solved a myriad of style issues, and has contributed to national discussions on fashion and wedding trends.

Catherine hails originally from Nogales, a small town on the border of Arizona and Mexico. As one of nine children, and born as a triplet, Catherine was destined to carve out her uniqueness and yet, at the same time, be connected very closely to others. It makes sense that Catherine’s career trajectory started, and remains, in the helping of others. With a B.S. degree from the University of Arizona, she spent two years nursing in OB/GYN followed by two years in pediatrics. She enjoyed an additional four years as a project manager for state funded health programs within the nursing, program development and management fields.

Catherine eventually left her beloved field of nursing to be a full-time mother and to pursue her love of weddings and fashion.

Since 2000, Catherine’s wedding business had grown exponentially. She’d made a mark for herself by adapting to wedding clients’ various needs, maintaining excellent relations with top vendors in Southern California, and contributing to the field with her expertise in print media.
