At Carlsbad Flower Fields. I love seeing the various stages of planting. It’s always a wonderful surprise to see what mural they are creating with flowers each year. Hard to tell, but it looks like they are planting ranunculus this year. In a couple of months it will be in full bloom.

An Autumn Dancer post for this beautiful Autumn Monday…

Happy beautiful Autumn day! This was created from a few leftover flowers from a beautiful wedding that we had the opportunity to design for this weekend. See the different rose colors? The bride wanted bright yellow garden roses. I started with yellow roses and they changed to peach as they opened. It was a scramble to find bright yellow roses on the wedding day. 😳 A florist’s nightmare!! In the end, everything turned out just beautifully AND with the right color of roses. 🙂. Keep an eye out for upcoming posts of the wedding itself.

Events are happening again!! Today’s event was a “Summer Bash” in Sonoma. When I got to the venue to set up, my face hurt from smiling so much! I drove through Kenwood, right in the heart of wine country, where I lived for 18 years. It is so beautiful! I feel so lucky to live here in Sonoma County and to do the work that I do. Other drivers on the road probably thought I was a crazy lady with that huge smile. 🤣

At the end of the week, it’s always fun to create something with the leftover flowers on hand. Not only does it remind me of the different designs that I have done during the week and the lovely clients that I created them for, but it feels like a fun challenge to put them all together and see what springs forth. I love my work💕🌸

In a recent trip to the north coast, as I was walking along the shoreline, I was in awe of the beautiful gifts that the ocean had washed up. I gathered them up and loaded them into my husband’s arms (he loves that 😳). Today’s design is in honor of the ocean, the north coast, my health that allows me to hike these stunning cliffs, and my husband who’s always a good sport.
