It’s been a while since I posted but don’t fret, I am still still coordinating weddings! I love what I do because I provide peace of mind to couples as they are planning for their wedding!
I also get to work with couples who have been working on a special performance for their first dance like these two! Wedding is in a month!!! Yay!! I cannot wait!

Wedding Planning meeting today with one of my couple’s for 2019!!!

The drive up was a bit scary because Waze routed us a different way because Woodside street had congestion. Don’t worry I was cautious driving!

This venue is beautiful and is great for guest count 200 and under. It has the woodsy look and the view is absolutely beautiful!

Each person at the got one raffle ticket and I ended up purchasing 20 more tickets and WON!!! 😃😃😃

When was your wedding: November 18, 2017

Where was your wedding: Hayward, CA (ceremony) & San Ramon, CA (reception)

Things I helped you prior to the wedding: Gina was so efficient and organized from the very start. She set up a meet up months in advance before our wedding day for my husband and I to go through details of the wedding. I brought my own computer to take notes and possibly make a time line but Gina had it organized and figured out already. She had a general timeline and made any changes as needed. Since our first visit I had a great feeling about her. A few months passed, Gina was always available through text, phone call and face time. There was a time I texted her on a weekday early morning and she responded back in a efficient time. I was never afraid to reach out to her because her personality is very welcoming and she was reliable. Since we had met months in advance, she initiated another meet up since I had new venders added to our special day. She made sure she had listed all the venders names and phone numbers along with the contracts that way she can get in contact with them to confim details so I didn't have to deal with it. Another meet up was the venue walk through. She was efficient that even after our venue walk through with the director at the venue, she still took time after that to talk with us to make sure we were confident and happy. Our final meet was ceremony rehearsals. I was so busy then noticed I already saw her speaking with the bridal party and felt like she already knew everyone. My ceremony ran very smoothly. It was fun and exciting. Our priest was very impressed by her. He told me that he liked her because she was direct and prompt. Everyone she met told me they loved her. She helped in so many ways. The simple things helped my husband and I in the long run. The best part of hiring her as a coordinator is she makes you feel comfortable as if she is a long time friend I always had that got a long with everyone!

How did I keep you sane: The whole process of planning a wedding can be stressful. Weddings are full of emotions! To the beginning to the very end, Gina made me feel confident. She was a professional. Any questions anyone asked her, she was able to answer. Any last minute changes, she was able to work through it. She always made us feel that everything is under control no matter what! To top it off, her energy and charisma was always there. It’s a major A+++ having a coordinator with that kind of personality because the people around feed off that energy! It keeps everyone on a the right track and feeling positive! I was lucky that Gina has past experiences from all the weddings she had coordinated. Being my first time ever throwing a big party with 280+ guests I needed some guidance. Through it all Gina was my goddess wedding ring leader. She thoroughly explained wedding questions I needed guidance on. She gave me opinions so my husband and I can make the best decision that works best for big day! I loved that about her!

How you felt about the day of your wedding: It was the best day of my life! All my guests were raving about it the next day. All our hard work with planning a wedding did not go unnoticed. Our purpose is to enjoy your wedding day but we also wanted our guests to feel the love that night. And it was a HIT! I wish I could relive that day all over again! It was a dream come true because Gina played a big part making sure our day is as fun and relaxed as possible. I don't know what I would do without her presence. Although it is always so hard to do it when you are the host but I did not feeing at all because of Gina! I didn't have to worry about anything that day. All I had to do was live in the moment!

Thoughts on my services: Until now, I still can't thank her enough. She genuinely made sure my wedding vision came to life. I am one of those brides who had a very large checklist of items that needed to be completed on my wedding day and Gina executed them all flawlessly. From the moment we met her until the last second of my wedding night she was hands on, helpful and detailed orientated. She is such a go-getter and really made sure all the venders executed my wedding to perfection. Despite all the things she had to do, she was always had a smile on her face. I remember she took some time to talk to my husband I during the beginning of our reception to ask if we were okay or if we needed anything. It was refreshing to hear that from someone. Although, its such an exciting time of our lives it was touching that someone wanted to make sure if we were okay. I appreciate that she had plenty things to do she still had time to check up on us. I can't think of a better person to hold it down for us. Gina is the BEST!

💜Things I helped you prior to the wedding:
Gina kept us super organized! From the very start, she advised us on all the typical things that we would need to prepare ahead of time for the wedding. She had Google Sheets for everything - down to the smallest detail, from a general timeline of the day's activities to how and what to setup and where! I felt confident that if I'd forgotten about anything, that Gina would remind me (like the small but uber important detail of bringing a lighter for the altar candles!). She was super flexible, and we were able to stay in communication through emails, texts, and facetime calls. She also did a walk through with us at the venue to discuss details in more depth. Even though we'd hired her for just day-of coordination, Gina was on it, and we were able to check in multiple times well before and leading up to the wedding day. We'd found our various vendors on our own, but was able to just hand off all the contact info/contracts over to her to organize and to touch base with as needed. Gina also organized us during our rehearsal and made sure we all knew what to expect. There was very little that Gina didn't do for us!

💜How did I keep you sane:
Wedding planning is by far one of the most stressful things I've ever had to do - there are just so many emotions that you go through wanting the day to be special. Quite frankly, I'm not sure I could've thought about anything else on my wedding day aside from managing my emotions! And Gina really made our special day completely hands off for us. We literally didn't have to think AT ALL about keeping to the schedule (she'd cue us), whether or not the place was set up to our liking (she made sure of that), and she was just so great at directing everyone, answering all questions. My husband and I literally did not have to address a single question from anyone - not the vendors or our guests. If anything didn't go as planned (and I highly doubt that that happened), we had zero clue - that's how smooth Gina's coordinating was. And she was just so positive and friendly with everyone - she really added a lot of comfort and lightness to the environment. She was soooo reassuring every time we talked! And I knew I could trust her completely with running our wedding perfectly.

💜 How you felt about the day of your wedding:
Our wedding day was perfect! We got so many compliments about how the whole day went. There were zero hiccups - everyone was so pleased with how it all went. After a fairly stressful year of planning, I have to say that my husband and I just felt SO carefree that day!! Gina really helped create a great environment that allowed us to just relax and enjoy ourselves, and not give the wedding coordinating piece a single thought.

💜 Your thoughts on my services:
Gina was a dream come true. Again, she was just so friendly, so positive and upbeat, and truly reassuring in all our communications. I could tell that it was important to her to make our wedding great for us. She was just always so accommodating, and always knew what to say or do in every moment. When I was getting ready at the hotel, she sent me text updates, and sent me pictures of some of the decor so I'd know how it was going. When we had extra guests stay for dinner, I remember just letting her know quickly, and the guests were immediately seated with dinner and everything. But I think the best part about Gina is that even in all the hard work I knew she was doing, she was able to maintain a smile, and really went out of her way to greet all my family and my friends and make everyone feel welcome. She blended right in and really did a lot of the behind the scenes work without any of us even seeing it! And I think that's really important to have in a coordinator - someone who is obviously running things without drawing attention to themselves. She really made it about us, and I really appreciated that!

💜 Why you think it's important to hire a wedding coordinator: In our planning with Gina, it was clear that there were 50 million things to think about for the wedding day - what time the cake was coming, which vendor goes where, who was going to pack up the decor after the wedding, etc. I think it would've been absolutely impossible to be in the moment and enjoy our wedding had we not had a wedding coordinator. Having someone like Gina who I trusted completely to do her job well, really allowed us to just relish in the joy of having all the best people around us. Even though our wedding was hours long, it flew by in a flash - and had we had to answer questions, or be part of the setup, etc. - I think we would've missed a significant chunk of it, and wouldn't have reaped the benefits of the yearlong planning. Having Gina also meant we didn't have to burden our friends and family with helping out either - and that meant again more quality time with everyone!
