National Golf Outing This is one of the formats that we designed and piloted. Dick Garn and Chuck Thompson designed this format in 2010.

The National Golf Outing format is the framework for what will become the largest amateur Golf Tournament in the World. Piloted in 2011 (and earlier), a small regional roll-out was held in 2012, with a larger scale Regional roll-out planned in 2013. National Golf Outing is open to anyone-----no handicaps required.

This format will resonate with participants due to the increased opportunity for everyone to have FUN, compete and potentially WIN their way to the National Finals. It is designed to enhance and organize existing golf outings into a national golf outing with a National Finals. Golf courses and tournament organizers will appreciate it for the increased revenue opportunities and simple, well-documented tournament set up and administration.
