I’m so sad to hear of the passing of Reverend/Chaplain Harry Houseman. I have such fond memories working with him over 7 years for weddings in Seaside. He will always hold such a special place in my heart, as he performed my own wedding ceremony to Marc in June 2006. He went out of his way to make it extra personal & special for the two of us and I will never forget the role he played in this important moment in our lives.

Reverend Houseman truly lived such a full & extraordinary life, and he touched so many lives along the way. Rest in peace, dear Harry. You are loved and will be so missed. But I know that Miss Mary is happy to be reunited with you once again.

NOTE - I have so many beautiful photos of Reverend Houseman performing wedding ceremonies. But I just had to share this one from my own wedding. He called it the “proud grandfather shot.” And it’s accompanied by his sweet ceremonial marriage certificate, created by Mary. 🩷🩷🩷🩷
