Julie & Andrew | Wedding Feature

ANNOUNCEMENT // This is an emotional post to write. Not only because we are showcasing part of Julie & Andrew's main wedding feature, but also because we have a business announcement to make. Some of you who have inquired may already know this news, however, this is the first time we are announcing it publicly. Adam and I have decided to temporarily close down the cinematography part of the business for the next year or two. This hiatus is occurring for a few reasons: 1) Our dogs are all seniors and individually have special needs and it's becoming harder to bring in a third party to care for all of their needs while Adam and I are both gone for 12-14 hours, 2) Adam has been dealing with a severe injury for almost a decade and unfortunately, it's getting worse, 3) Adam wants to be able to focus more time on his film composing career @adamrobertsonmusic. We will truly miss this side of the business and the incredible moments that Adam captures and preserves for our amazing couples. Adam has a true gift for music and this certainly has a huge impact on his films, but he also has a candid, creative and unique eye that brings so much emotion into the wedding films he creates. As his wife, it's been such an honor standing by his side and being a business partner with my best friend, but it is time that we make this shift. I'm sure you have noticed how much our dogs are seen as our children, and prioritizing their health and happiness is incredibly important to us. We love you all and thank you for your support over the years. Spotsylvania Animal Shelter | VA

YES! There is talk that a huge renovation/upgrades will begin for Spotsylvania Animal Shelter early next year, like doubling in size, larger kennels, visitation rooms and “real-life rooms,” which have a home-like setting. This brings me back to the video we created YEARS ago to highlight the help that Spotsy needs/has needed so badly.
