At Full Battle Rattle Deli and Culinary Arts Boot Camp for Veterans we, as Veterans, believe that our service does not stop because we take off the uniform. As a Veteran, we still have a reasonability to not only serve our fellow Veterans, but serve our community as well. One a month, the participants in the culinary program go out and feed those in need, serve the community and use the skills they learn in program to prepare food to share. What a journey this last 4 1/2 years have been since we started in November 2019. Through COVID, and many changes and challenges starting Culinary Arts Boot Camp for Veterans/Full Battle Rattle Deli, we have "adapted and overcame" it all! With mission and purpose we faced all the challenges of a new business and nonprofit thrown in with a pandemic, and we found solution and grew to where we are today. Our unwavering support for our fellow Veterans was always the driving force, and will always be our driving force as we keep moving forward. I always say, " we may have been discharged from service, but we have not been discharged from each other!! And, we could not have done this alone with out the support, love, and belief in all that believed in the mission. To those who have stood by my side and believed in me and this mission, I am forever in gratitude and appreciation. It is because of you that we are here today, and this article is not just about the program, but about you as well.

And with the Army values close to my heart, I will never let a fellow Veteran fall. And these values; Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage will continue to drive both this program and myself forward...

And a special shout out to James Daigle, the creative director of Veterans Life Magazine, thank you for sharing our story, and all your support. In gratitude...I am humbled by your words...
