“Approach love & cooking with reckless abandon”- Dalai Lama
A pinch of friendship, a dash of timing, and a whole lot of restaurant experience combine to create a recipe for love. Our story began 26 years ago when we were both working in a popular Beverly Hills restaurant. There, we developed a strong professional partnership and solid friendship. When an opportunity took one of us to Seattle, we realized that our feelings for each other were more than managerial and decided to join forces in the Northwest. In 1995, we tied the knot and traded chilly Washington for sunny Arizona. After 12 years of working in respected, high volume restaurants and hotels in the Valley, two sons, and one wondrous dog later, it was time for us to hang out our own shingle. Determined to operate as we live… ethically, community conscious and from the heart, Amici Catering was born in 2006.
