I will not be original on this recap because I had to share this story without messing it up..

About 15 years ago James and Vanessa were just kids. They were good friends in the Army and trying to make the most of their time in Afghanistan. J was always the guy to make V laugh.

V was a bit superstitious at the time so she had everyone in her unit give her something that was important to them for her to keep in her pocket or on her person (she had really heavy pockets). V thought it would keep them safe. Most people gave her a dog tag or a piece of rank, but J being the smart aleck that he is, picked up a rock off the ground and said this rock is very special to me, keep it forever.

Well the joke is on him because she DID keep it forever and little did she know that 14 years later she would meet back up with J.

J then would ask V on a date to throw axes. This date made no sense because they lived states away and didn’t know how it all would work, but he was the guy who could always make her laugh and has always held a special place in her heart (and in her pocket with his rock).

After that date on August 15th they kept going on dates and it’s crazy how life changes. A year later and I’m now happier than ever, they both live in Ohio, have two dogs whom they adore, and are completely in love. The guy who gave V that rock so many years ago is now HER rock.

Kasadey + Tony | 06.29.2024

Kasadey + Tony met over five years ago at a Qdoba, where Tony knew instantly that he had met his tinderella. From that day on there were several more dates, a bit of rejection and even unannounced surprises. Aren 🐶 met his future brother, Rocky 🐶 and that helped solidify the love T had for K. From there, God created a beautiful love story. K sold her house, moved in with T and the next few years they just fell more and more in love. They have faced more obstacles in those five years than most couples face in a lifetime, and clearly came out on the other side.

Elegant (adjective) meaning pleasingly graceful and stylish in appearance or manner.
The wedding of D + P was just this, elegant. Literal movie vibes. Each detail was carefully thought out. From each candle placement, the accents of gold throughout the venue and the layout of the head table which surrounded them with their loved ones.
This wedding will forever be a standard in our wedding portfolio.

There are moments in your life that will forever leave a footprint on your heart. A core memory if you will. For me, looking at these photos takes me back. Back to conversations neither my Dad or I could have with each other. The pride he didn’t want to admit to when it came to walking me down the aisle. The fact that I didn’t think I needed this first look because my dad and I just didn’t have that “mushy” relationship. But now, years later, I have only regrets of not having more “mushy” moments.
So take a minute, call your dad if you can. Send him a message in heaven. Or find that person who left that footprint on your heart, and just let them know you are thinking of them today.

Sarina + Mark | 06.15.2024

Sarina + Mark met in a dark alley when S picked him up for their first date. Kidding. They met on tinder about 6 weeks after S moved to Duluth! They went on their first date to the anchor and then top hat tavern for pool. S did pick him up in the alley behind his parents house, but only because he said he left his truck at his work site a few hours away! S had the thought “oh great I’m going on a date with a guy who doesn’t even have a vehicle AND lives at his mom’s house… WHAT am I doing???” Turns out he did have a vehicle, a college degree, a great career and together they have created a beautiful life!

Grace + Cameron | 06.15.2024
G and C met at a party in high school in 2018. Their first date was at Casa Mexicana where they both hit it off right away over their love of Mexican food. Shortly after their first date, Grace’s grandma had passed so they stopped talking for a few months until December when Cameron bought Grace’s mom a birthday present without even meeting her! That’s all it took and they started dating in December. In January C came home with their dog Katie and surprised G. Not long after that, C was sent to training in Texas for several months. He came home for two weeks before he left for deployment and he proposed to G right in front of their good friends Andrew, Taylor, and Jack during a trip to Copper Falls. The next two weeks flew by and Cwas deployed for nine months in Afghanistan. (longest 9 months everrrrr) BUT when he came home in April of 2020, they moved in together and were able to finally start their lives as a couple. Another dog Lilo came in 2021. They quickly outgrew their apartment and purchased a home together in 2022. Later that same year came the best surprise, their son Case! Now they have created the most beautiful life together and today is just the start of their next chapter!

Alena + Ralph | 06.08.2024

Ralph and Alena met through a mutual friend! A thought she was initially meant to be the match maker but little did she know, she was meant to be the MATCH! On A’s nieces birthday (now they can’t forget the date) they officially met in person. They hit it off so well that after he left, he came back later that night to continue hanging out. They danced the night away ( ). After that, they kept in touch and had their first official date a few weeks later. The rest is history.

It’s Wedding Weekend for + ! ✨
Let’s take a little walk down memory lane and share with your their little love story! 🤍
In May of 2016 Bethanie was on a late night snack run ( ) and saw Gavin sitting on the curb of the gas station. B thought he was cute so just like the boss that she is, she went up to him and introduced herself. Then as fate would have it, her roommate actually went to High School with G and was able to connect the two!
A year of off and on talking, they finally started spending more and more time together. FIVE months after that, G FINALLY asked B to be his girlfriend. But stop✋🏼 He showed up with a box that was empty with a note inside asking her to be his girlfriend. In G fashion, a year later he dropped the L bomb.
Now, seven years later, they have two pups and a beautiful life together! We CANNOT wait to celebrate them!

My literal life motto for weddings is to treat them as if they were my own. Our clients trust us with one of the most memorable days of their lives. Seriously what an honor. And because of this, I am not afraid to take the guest book camera and capture photos of the beautiful parts of their day. The parts that they may not got the chance to appreciate. You never know how important these photos could become.

The elegance of the colors carried throughout their day. They thought of all the intricate details, showcased their talents and surrounded themselves with so much love it was unimaginable. I often get asked, why “Zane”? I chose the name because I wanted something that was meaningful to me. I spent time praying and asking God for answers, especially if this what was right for me and my family. So why not honor Him by naming my business something of His nature.

In the planning process, we become family. The plus one you didn’t know you needed. And as much as we love the emotion that goes with that, the emotions that go with the planning of someone you’ve watched grow up is so much more. And watching Chloe and Shane grow in love… I mean, . What they have is truly beautiful. It only made sense to celebrate at one of the most beautiful venues on one of the most beautiful days of the year.

As a wedding vendor, and just the natures of being human, I feed off energy. When going to a wedding, setting my intentions and my heart are my focus from the moment I open my eyes. It is my responsibility to bring positivity and just good vibes to a couple on their big day. It’s a celebration after all! 🥂
