This week we lost a legend . She made the cake for my June 20, 1987 wedding. I remember when Mr. Ross from the hotel told me that not only are her cakes beautiful they are absolutely delicious! Off we went to meet with her. We sat and listened in awe to how she started her business in her kitchen and she gave us the tour of the room with all the beautiful sugar flowers she was making. She was a very warm and friendly person and I had no doubt her cake would be magnificent! She told me she would call and match the flowers - and here is a picture of her magnificent creation which was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious - to this day I have not had a cake as good as hers. RIP Sylvia Weinstock - I am truly honored that I had your cake for my wedding!
