I've done quite a few weddings at the Founders Inn, but tonight was my first inside the Swan Terrace restaurant. The groom was a groomsman in another wedding I did. He booked me just earlier this week. Though we had little time to plan and I was out of town, we still pulled off a beautiful and culturally diverse Christmas themed celebration. This was one of the kindest and most appreciative groups I've entertained. Nate & Catalina, I wish you all the best.

Hannah & Ben's friends really know how to party! Their reception was in a church social hall with no alcohol, but that didn't stop them from dancing and having fun. Hannah & Ben had guests request songs on their RSVP cards, and it worked out well. ABBA and Taylor Swift were by far the most requested.

Last night Brenna & Bryce chose Gwin Entertainment for their wedding at the Chrysler Museum. It's certainly one of the most beautiful venues around. Their guests danced and partied hard. Thanks for choosing me for your big day!

I partied up on the Eastern Shore again last night. The weather was perfect for Abby & Dan's celebration. I had some minor equipment issues, but have a backup and a plan B for everything so the show went on without a hitch.

Last night I worked at the Harbor Club at Waterside District for the first time. Kathleen and Josh booked me for a long reception. Sometimes the crowd dwindles down after a while, but most of their friends and family stayed and danced until the end. I look forward to celebrating with them again in July when I do Kathleen's brother's wedding!

I first met Donald & Marissa to talk about their wedding two and a half years ago - in the spring of 2019. COVID-19 postponed their celebration TWICE! I still remember walking out of that meeting thinking what nice people they are and how much I was looking forward to working with them. I'm so happy that we finally made it happen. Sanctuary Vineyards was a great venue for both their ceremony and reception and Currituck BBQ Company served up some delicious food. It was well worth the wait.

Abbie & Justin got married 1 year ago today, but an uninvited guest named Covid delayed the reception until now. It's a beautiful day here at the Virginia Beach oceanfront with some big waves crashing on the sand. The Attic at Waterman's is my favorite venue for smaller groups.
