Cotton mini sign ups will go live tomorrow at 10am!

If you currently are on the waitlist for mini session credit, please message me to verify that I have you down as first dibs on these.

Also, PLEASE read every single detail of these minis. These are tentative dates! As of right now, the farmer cannot give me specific times or dates until closer to the field being ready. I was given a prediction. These minis WILL NOT have a deposit due tomorrow. It will be just a waitlist. Deposits will be due one week from your session once we can guarantee these dates.

Tomorrow at 10am you will pick a date and time slot. You will still answer all of the questions and sign your contract per usual with my sign ups. Closer to October I will send out deposit invoices! DO NOT SIGN UP TOMORROW IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH YOUR BOOKED SLOT. You will be holding a spot from someone who would be willing to show up and that puts me in a huge bind.

‼️ Starting in 2025, all mini sign ups will be allowed ONE reschedule per year for mini sessions. After your first reschedule if you cancel or reschedule again, you will not be allowed to book mini sessions with Kayla Wolfe Photography and Film in the future. Please understand that you are holding a time slot and date from someone else. Each mini I offer, I have spent countless hours, days, weeks and months planning. People look forward to these sessions. It is not fair to others to hold a spot for months then cancel. It’s not fair to me either. This excludes reschedules or cancellations due to illnesses, emergencies or weather ‼️

I hope you all understand this decision and I can’t wait for these next few mini sessions!

The last spot for August has been booked! We have 9 sweet little newborns this month and a couple other sessions!

A few updates:
Starting this Wednesday, 8/7, I will only be taking three days of sessions each week during the week. Both of my boys officially start school this week but my youngest will be going part-time. With that being said, dates are filling up a little faster since availability is extremely limited. Just a reminder that there are NO weekends available until January. They are all completely booked. I am working on a waitlist for weekend dates though just in case one comes open.

Expecting mamas, if you’re wanting on the book for a newborn session please reach out to secure your date in advance! Please do not wait until your little one is born, I can not guarantee availability as some of our newborn dates are secured months in advance. Dates are only secured by deposit and contract.

Fall is almost here! Which means it’s almost seasonal mini session time and I’m so excited!!! We can’t wait to share all of the fun things happening this holiday season! 🤍

All 52 Santa spots booked up within an hour last month when they released! That puts us with over 100+ kids this year!

I still have 30+ people on the waitlist. Santa has ONE date he’s holding to see if there’s any interest to do a few sessions that day. It’ll be 11/25 from 1-4:00. That’s Thanksgiving break for most kids and hopefully would work with everyone’s schedules!

If you’d like a spot, please comment below and let me know! I will go down the waitlist people first and ask them if they can do this date and if not, then I’ll go to comments on this post!

Hello sweet clients! Thank you all so much for your patience the last few weeks as I get caught up on a few weddings for May and June that have needed to go out! I took a little break from regular sessions last week to focus on those weddings.

If you are waiting on a gallery between 7/10-7/20, they will be going out this week! Any session after 7/20 will have a 2-3 week turn around as of right now. I'm hoping once I get both boys off to school next week that I can get caught up and have your galleries delivered before that time frame!

With much thought, I have decided to not do Christmas pajama minis this year! I absolutely hate not doing them, but with 4 days full of Santa it’s going to be super hard moving the bed in and out of the studio for dates in between Santa sessions.

With that being said, I have been contemplating doing a studio back drop set up and offering family sessions WITHOUT Santa for the ones who would love to do a Christmas themed session but maybe have kids too old for Santa or just want something a little more simple! This date would be mid to late November! Very limited spots!

My Story

Where do I begin? I’m 23 years old and I currently live in Grenada, MS. I’m as southern as it gets. As a child I was always fascinated with cameras and photography. One Christmas I bought this really cheap Powershot Canon camera and started snapping a few photos here and there. It wasn’t until I met my husband that I decided to open my own business and become a local photographer and videographer.

We met in March of 2016 and have been inseparable ever since. He’s my rock and my absolute best friend. We got married on September 29, 2018. After experiencing so much love, laughter and joy on our wedding day; I decided that photographing and videoing weddings is where I want to spend my excess time. I have met so many people and tons of amazing couples! Each with their own stories and backgrounds.

You never know what will bring you true joy in life until you find yourself. Once you find who you are, that’s when everything you’ve done in your life will make perfect sense. I have been the happiest doing exactly what I love, capturing God’s love through individuals showing their own love.
