who said leftovers had to be boring? lunch upgrade from leftovers. poke summer roll filled with rice, korean nori, leftover poke, crab salad, and namasu, wrapped in a rice paper sheet with a side sauce of chili oil, tabasco sriracha, sesame oil, and shoyu. delish!

Great memories in Waimea. This great lady in Waimea, came to check what we were laughing about and gave us the most interesting rendition of Rap Replingers hula. She made us laugh that much more.

Kindness is in short supply nowadays. I was listening to my coworkers chat and had mentioned how snarky they were. Even as I was talkng to another co-worker we were discussing the amount of negativity that is discussed at the worksite. How can we turn it around from negativity to positivity but with the flavor of kindness? Its easy to be sassy or critical but I feel like to loose the opportunity to truly build a more wholesome community rather than one that focuses so much on what is wrong rather than searching for solutions. Today, Iʻm going to try to be more kind to each person in my path. What can you do to be more kind?

Its all about the journaling. Taking just 15 minutes (or less) to just jot down what is going on in my head. I actually have multiple locations to do this (digital notebook, various paper notebooks (work or personal)). Sometimes you need to dump it all out. If you haven’t found a spot, now is a good time. Find some paper and write. Wrtie about anything, how you’re feeling, what feels good, what feels bad, who you are doing great with, who you’re not doing great with. Whatever is at the top of your head jus start journalling. There is no one to impress. Do you! I’ll check back with you tomorrow.

Like my office space, I also need to declutter my social media too. A few weeks ago I started to clean out my instagram from hashtags that aren't very relevant to how I'm spending my time on social media. I've also taken a look at my FB account too. Now's a great time to go through your IG and FB feeds and unfollow hashtags or people or leave groups that don't inspire or encourage you. During my last declutter, I left about 10 different hashtags and people that I was following due to the current crafting that I was doing at the time. I'm going to focus on that today and see how many groups I leave. I'll provide an update later today. How about you? How can you downsize your social media feeds to make your time on a little more meaningful? Don't let your FOMO get in the way.
