oooooo this'll be fun to tinker around with

Today we released Blackmagic Web Presenter 3.4 update, which adds support for a new REST API on both the Blackmagic Web Presenter HD and Blackmagic Web Presenter 4K models. If you are a software developer, the REST API allows you to integrate Web Presenter into automation systems so you can customize all streaming parameters to get precise control over streaming. This is more powerful than XML based settings on the regular streaming settings. Plus, you can update streaming platform details remotely and even build a custom application to control the Web Presenter with the features you need.

This update also improves mobile tethering with Google Pixel phones, as well as addressing an issue with H.265 streaming with SRT on YouTube. As a workaround, the default streaming settings have been changed to H.264 until Youtube is able to fix the issue. However this codec setting is set in the XML file so it can be overridden if required.
