What are hybrid events?
Hybrid events are, quite simply, a mix of live and virtual events.

You take your live event, complete with an audience, content, and more, and you add a virtual component to it so your audience can participate and engage with your event, no matter where they are.

Pro tip: Be sure your virtual guests know how to log in, that your live guests know there will be a virtual audience and that both know how the agenda will play out.

Tip: Get Social with your virtual event!

Social media is an invaluable tool in event marketing. Not only can it be used to create a buzz around your event in the lead-up, but it is also a great way to involve your attendees during the event, while promoting your event at the same time. Here's how you could use social media as revenue stream:

- Create a hashtag or dedicated social handle for attendees to use, and encourage them to post during the event, perhaps by doing a live Q&A, polls, or even incentivising by creating a competition.

- Experience the event with them by live posting during the event. For people who can’t attend, they’ll feel included if you post pictures or quotes from the event, and once they get a teaser of how great the event is, they’ll be first in line for the next one.
