While talk of the arctic blast and snow consumes the weather reports, my mind is several seasons ahead and dreaming of warmer temps! The reality of this job is I'm always planning and designing for the upcoming seasons. Currently summer is looking like it’s going to be realllllly beautiful and I’m excited to see it all come together 💕

Honestly, I would love a snow day, but I know better than to get my hopes up living in VA ❄️

Swipe for a low-quality photo of some high-quality brides 💕

It's mid-October and we are in the thick of busy season. The days are filled with timelines, floor plans, seating charts, walkthroughs, rehearsals, and of course wedding days.

This season takes a lot of time away from family, friends, fall festivities, etc. but being part of one of the most important day a for a couple is such a gift and something our team does not take lightly.

This was such a pinch-me moment as we snapped this photo right before sending off M & C back in June where five of my past brides were also in attendance. The relationships we form with our couples are something we truly cherish the most, and being able to see our couples again brings us so much joy. We spend a lot of time together planning that a send off is so bittersweet.

And that’s a wrap on June 2024☀️

Ended the month celebrating celebrating our best girls first birthday! In the midst of my busiest season it was so special to take a moment to create new memories with our little family. There’s always a little bit of guilt that creeps in when my weekends are filled, so taking a quick pause before jumping back into it was needed for all of us 💕

Excited for a new month tomorrow! Lots of exciting things to come in July and I’m ready for it!

Hey there! I’m Emily, a Virginia native with a passion for gathering people together. From a young age I’ve loved nothing more than filling our home with family and friends. That passion for bringing people together followed me into adulthood. In my later years of high school and college I interned for a destination wedding planner and absolutely fell in love with weddings. There is something about being part of a couple’s biggest day that is so special and rewarding. To this day, first dances still make me tear up, regardless of how closely I know the couple (and yes, I cry watching random strangers wedding videos on Facebook!). To see couples enjoying their day and all the moments along the way is what fuels my passion for event planning. As my husband says, I love love!

As an event planner, I work hard to make sure your event goes smoothly. I handle all the moving pieces behind the scenes so you can enjoy the event stress free. Your wedding day should be about you and your loved one, not worrying about where centerpieces should be placed! Whatever your level of need is, my team and I are here to ensure your day is as perfect and enjoyable as you dreamed!
