***Not pictured was the trip to town to get the farm dog groomed and a park play date with my kiddos. Briar helped stack a bunch of wood today & worked on her dirt bike skills. Wilder worked on picking up his toys in the house and around the yard, while just being Wilder. Can’t believe I’ll have a five year old next week! I was pregnant when I first started this adventure with him.
First wedding in a couple of weeks, normally I start the first weekend of June but I held off this year because of last years grass debacle. So glad I did. 40-50mph winds, honesty there’s been times in the past where Forrest had to plow every 4 hours or it would be too high to break through. This storm it’s been 2-3 times a day. We’ll see though, it’s definitely kicked up a notch today.

Being a venue owner, you just never know what’s going to get thrown at you. One of major issues this last season was our grass. I was so happy to have very understanding couples who didn’t care about it. Especially with the cold May and June we had. I worked my butt off the Month of May to get as much back before our first wedding in June. In the end it all worked out and the grass handled better than I thought.
