If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably noticed a gradual change in my editing over the past year, and especially in the past 6 months! I wanted to make an official announcement—my editing style has changed!

For years, I have really loved the warm, creamier style of editing. While I do still love warm tones & shooting at golden hour, I have recently decided to lean more into natural, true colors, not adding in any extra warmth where there is none. I have a deep desire to create timeless images that you can look back at in 20+ years and still love! I believe this new way of editing will allow for that to be true!

What does this mean for clients who booked me when I was still really warm? It’s up to you! I’m happy to edit your photos warmer, as I did when you first booked, or I can edit them in my new editing style! Just let me know what you would like :)

In this post, I have included some recent work for you to see more of my new edits. I would describe my style now as bright, colorful, & soft, and I do still pull warm because of the way that I shoot — often at golden hour, and always using the sunlight if I can ☀️ I have also created a story highlight with some of my previous edits + how I would edit them today. Let me know if you guys have any questions! I’m excited for a new step in my photography style, and cannot wait to continuing photographing so many of you! ☺️
